They were heading to Chicago hoping they'd get charged there because they'd receive a much lighter sentence - especially if they're minors. There was a story last year where a guy went on a crime spree that started in Chicago and ended in a neighboring county. The criminal bragged to the cop that he'd be released and get no jail time (assuming he'd be charged in Cook County), but the other county charged him properly according to the law. The criminal kept petitioning to be moved to Cook County for his trial. These teen car theft rings are a menace in that area of the country, particularly Chicago and Milwaukee - which also refuses to prosecute minors. They also ban police chases if the suspect is driving recklessly. So guess what the suspects do? Intentionally drive recklessly to end the pursuit. These places will never improve. The citizens are conditioned to crime and demoralized, and any time someone wants to get tougher on crime, racism is used as a cudgel to undermine their message.

They should've done a TPAC in my opinion as that's a great way to reduce the speed and help contain the suspects. It's a UK tactic but as a proud Citizen of the US. Another thing I hate seeing with officers is them struggling to control suspects even when theres several Officers. What would radically change things and actually save lives of Officers and Suspects is if they were required to learn Jiu-Jitsu or even just individual Cops that want to become better handling situations alone or with others. I see it so many times them try getting the hands of people but struggling often leading to them striking or even tasing people when if they did some Jiu-Jitsu and/or Wrestling that'll they find it makes life so much easier an they'll be able to focus on other things. I've got Officer friends that have taken that step and they've said it should be something that's required because of the actual impact and benefit you get out of it. My 3 sons and 2 daughters know a minimum of 4 Martial arts and all carry a Pistol but the girls have a Taser and Pepper spray. If you're a Dad or Mom I'd advise you to do the same especially the world we're living in now. It's better for them to have it and not need it instead of not having but really needing it. Not that any of you got to here but my apologies for my awful literacy skills. I wish you all an awesome day whoever wherever and whenever you see this. I am proud to call the US home and I won't ever return to the UK especially after I brought my whole family over here. I served in the military despite being from a family with money but I made something of myself without ever taking anything off my Parents and I became wealthy after having several businesses/properties and Crypto even while doing tours in Afghanistan. What a waste that was! Biden has made the US look pathetic so Trump 2024 baby and if he isn't your guy the FU! @JimboSlice-t5i2 ай бұрын
@@maximilian200057Holy shit you're right about age of consent. Wisconsin does not have a close-in-age exemption. Close in age exemptions, commonly known as "Romeo and Juliet laws", are put in place to prevent the prosecution of individuals who engage in consensual sexual activity when both participants are significantly close in age to each other, and one or both partners are below the age of consent. Because there is no such "Romeo and Juliet law" in Wisconsin, it is possible for two individuals both under the age of 18 who willingly engage in intercourse to both be prosecuted for statutory rape, although this is rare. Similarly, no protections are reserved for sexual relations in which one participant is a 17 year old and the second is a 18 or 19 year old. Pulling a job like this shows how little the know. They have watched gone in sixty seconds too many times. There were some crews starting in the nineties that could pull this many cars at once. They knew what they were doing. They either stashed the cars close to where they were taken or put them right into a cargo container. Most of those crews were caught. Now with cameras everywhere and moden surveillance methods it is difficult to get away with something like this. To keep from drawing too much attention it is better to not take more than one or two cars at a time.

"I'm a teenager! I'm a teenager!" Yep, and you're going to be tried as an adult due to your intentional, malicious, and apathetic behavior towards others. The very FACT that he tried to use it as an excuse (to get better treatment) proves that he did it intentionally with the belief that he'd be let off the hook because he's 17 or whatever (it's actually not unheard of for PRETEENS to be tried as adults)

These "teens" were probably paid by a boss in Chicago to come to Wisconsin and bring back these cars. The boss probably told them they wouldn't get in much trouble since they are teens. They probably get so much for each car they can deliver. Sad they couldn't have caught more of these criminals. They'll have some good GTA stories for their friends when they get back.
