It's a very interesting contrast with the original French interpretation, where Jérémie sounds extremely...I don't know...smug ? In that scene. I can't explain it. It doesn't sound right. This version, on the other hand, is far more appropriate. And on the contrary, the scene at 14:35 seems less impactful in this dub. Jérémie and Aelita's worry is far better conveyed in French.

Really love this episode, shows just how far the series has come in terms of developments in animation for season 2. Ulrich's fight against his doppelganger was so dynamic with very few reused animations/scenes, I'd never expected such a high quality fight scene from this show given the how often the showrunners relied on stock animations..

as a french this show is from my country I can manifest about this detail, the budget was very complicated at this period and they are considered it was a cartoon, kids wouldn't notice the songs will be always repetitive. It's true we don't really get attention to these details when we are young, but growing up I can understand you see the songs are always repetitive but I don't mind, Codelyoko had amazing soundtracks and the songs and it's always amazing to listen the songs even if we heard it 100 times, they did a great job to not get tired of the songs ;)

This is one of Ulrich's best moments throughout the series. It was impressive that Ulrich could ride his Overbike and still managed to block out X.A.NA's laser arrow with his katana from behind, not just his front. I think Jeremy didn't have access to the controls while Aelita was trying to work on the decoding process. And she couldn't stop the process because Xana had taken control of the tower. So Xana pretty much stopped Jeremy from doing that before be could even think of it.

Yeah, that's awesome that has instantly took out two out of three of them. I guess he forgot about the third one during his fight against XANA Ulrich. Also, Jeremie could have reminded Ulrich that the Tarantula was still there near the tower. That way he could have taken it out and then there would have been nothing in Ulrich's way of cutting the lines to the tower.

This episode was perfect. Stuff like Ulric doing kickass shit along with great animation. Fantastic ending with the gang slowly realizing the reveal and Aelitas denail coming off felt real. The situation odd was in was one of those where i became very anxious even though i know its a "kids show". Also other small things like seeing Aelita interacting with the rest of the gang without jeremy is always nice. Overall this felt like a very mature episode and is what makes this series worth rewatching

Xana Odd to Xana Ulrich. Xana made a cool monster. By activating the tower and creating a polymorphic Spector and transforming the clone into Odd and staying in form on Lyoko after he didn’t need to tower any more. He knows his monster can be strong enough without a tower keeping them going.
