and this is where the rules of the supercomputer were retconned. Hopper stated in his diaries that the ability to go back in time was an emerging quality, meaning that it wasn't programmed into the super computer, but it just existed on its own. the return to the past application would be a program to activate it, changes to how it functions should not be possible

I think he was more saying he discovered it's possible with the supercomputer and was able to program it, rather than it just popped up like the U2 album in iTunes. But even if that was the case, it doesn't make sense that a teenage girl that's never touched a supercomputer was able to hack the time travel function without Jeremy noticing.

What determines who remembers after a time reset? She's right there in the room with them when it was done. Twice.

So the only way someone should be able to remember anything from a RTTP is by having been scanned by the supercomputer. This Instance she editted the program to make herself immune. But was never explained how William remembers fighting someone in a bridge with yumi.

Going back in time only made Xana stronger while he was in the supercomputer. Now that he isn't, there's no risk.

Laura gained immunity to RTTP here and lost it later on in Temporal Paradox. This means they could've recruited temporary members to their team and launched a special RTTP to bring them back to normal.

I don't find any of them to be in the right. She looked at things she wasn't supposed to look at. It's like showing a picture to someone and then they start scrolling through the rest of your photos and then ends up seeing something you didn't want them to see. And then she has the audacity to change the program when, in my opinion, she logically wouldn't completely understand. (I already find it hard to believe she could understand the complex code of the supercomputer so quickly and tweak in a day no matter how much a coding wiz she is.) But also the rest of the gang just using her without an explanation, and using a pretty shady way to lure her there, just to erase her memory after. They should have decided if she could be trusted and then bring her on instead of just using her like that.

From what I recall, Jerremy doesn't virtualize himself until later in the timeline in the episode where he gets possessed, it at least heavily implied there, so he could've also reprogramed the return to the past. But then again he does virtualize himself during the fake reality episode

Did they retcon everyone's abilities except William's or is the writing just that bad? The whole team have been assholes to anyone they deem "not in" the group to psychopathic extremes. They try using people for their own benefit (Laura and William) who already want to help them then get upset when they don't happily get tossed aside when they've used up their usefulness. Never mind how a teenage girl is able to program as if she invented the computer language, if she wanted to she could've pulled a Xana and bugged out everything in the SC, trapped them inside, disconnect the scanners, brick the OS, etc. Idk how Jeremy trust her that much then at a moments notice it's hyper paranoia when they cant con her for free work...

Gosh these kids never matured up. After all Laura has done for her + the fact that William is part of the group ONLY because he was able to remember the things that happened before the Return to the Past, it’s the obvious thing to embrace her with open arms. At the start of the episode they said it themselves that it’s mean to go back in time after she does what they need her to do, so why continue to reluctantly take her in when her brains are impeccable (except Aelita of course is dead worried she’ll steal her man lmao)? 🤷‍♂️🤷🏽🤷🏻‍♀️

So many mistakes were made leading up to William's first mission. I put the blame on all of them. They literally explained nothing about what he might see on Lyoko, what creatures are super dangerous, what tasks they'll face when entering Sector 5, and so on. William I could have punched in the face if I was Aelita, he brushed her off and took the entire situation lightly. Aelita said to run from the Scipazoa and he was like nah I got this. No, he didn't. He got captured, became Xana's official puppet, and proceeded to be a hinderance rather than an asset to them. They all messed up. And the only benefit of the doubt I can give them is that they're children, immature, and failed to think ahead. But in all honesty, Yumi was right. His personality and temperament at the time didn't mesh well with them. Yeah, they needed extra help, but that also should have trained him and they didn't think to do that before their hands were tied and they had to rush him in. Sorry for the rant but the way they handled everything bugged me so much. But again they're kids and mistakes happen.

I know Laura is annoying, smug, and really shouldn't be in the group, but you gotta admit the lyoko warriors were straight assholes in this episode. As annoying as Laura can be, you really can't blame her for trying to defend herself and her work (the virus she did). The group did cast the first stone on this one. Well Aelita's personality took a big turn in Evolution (I prefer her seasons 1-4) but honestly Laura is unbearable. She's so smug and does things without consulting the others. The story is not that bad, actually like were is heading. But the live scenes are very bad scripted, in the original intersting things happen, with Sissy and the other characters, Jim also is very nice. Also the fighting is very cheap made, to bad they had low budget, but is alright, we have more of the story, but you can see the potential that it has for more cool stories.

I been code lyoko fan for as long as I remember I watched it send it came out as just cartoon and knew about Evolution a few years later I waited for the dub since 2015 and as I understand there is no official dub but only Episode 5 as I understand. I’m trying contact to contact the company who own code lyoko Evolution to offer Financial support to get official dub going and uploaded in KZbin. I’m not trying to make money out of it or anything I’m just simply a huge fan we believe not only me would like a dub to have for Evolution I believe I got what it takes and more to make it happen. Of course I do have other reasons for me to want official dub to be out but none of my reasons is to make money out of it or be famous or anything. I just want dub episodes to be made uploaded to your office channel and I don’t want any Credit for it and I want to pay for all process.
