CodeofBell XPod Sling Review

A review of how I use the X-Pod sling bag from CodeofBell. This is a small expandable sling that has a ton of features.

It’s nice to see this sling in the non expanded portion. All the other reviews show it expanded with all the pockets and straps. I think that is why I never really looked at this sling it just looked big and complicated to be honest with you. Like you I don’t think I would need the expanded portion and would use it very rarely. But never say never. It’s nice that it is there to use if you need it. I really like slings I don’t find backpacks to be overly comfortable for me. Slings are so much easier to get into. I’m looking for a smaller sling right now less then 4 litres. I’m looking at the AER city sling as well. But I will take a deeper dive into this sling. Thanks for the video 🙏🏻

True. Honestly this sling seems over engineered. Tho it looks really cool and techie, but for an everyday use it just looks extreme and a bit much.

How strong is the webbing material on the inner pockets?

They are average - simple stitching and material weight.

The expanded mode looks so strange that I don’t understand what’s the point of this bag. Might as well just get a simpler sling that doesn’t expand.

I think it depends on how often you need it in "expanded" mode :-)
