Easter Sunday, 2001, 4am. I got jumped leaving downtown with some friends and got stomped. First strike came as I was warning a girl we were with to stay close to us. As I was talking someone snuck up and punched me in the temple, leaving a blood spot in my eye for over a month. As soon as I hit the ground I got kicked in the back, lower ribs, so hard it left a tread mark bruise from his shoes for over a month. I immediately spun around on my back (mostly from the pain) and started kicked at him as hard as I could from my back. I managed to kick his legs apart, and then BAM, right in the pills! He keeled over, I got up and punched his lights out. .... .. but then the rest of his buddies came and it got ugly, but ultimately got broken up before anyone got killed.... geesh. Anywho, kick hard and don't give up! Great videos, thank you for all the hard work! :)

Good job, man! Keep fighting is right. I experienced a similar situation. Little teenagers surrounding me wearing me out. Then 3 big guys came to finish me off. I knew I was screwed, so I waited for the biggest guy to get close. His strategy was to let the little bastards shield him, while he set up the attack. I got lucky and swung around some of them and punched him hard- a blind connect that knocked him down. When he got up... He connected, after they parted for him to get me. I was awake but couldn't function, while standing. I got pushed, hit the ground, woke up, and started fighting again. They ran after getting my wallet. Like you said, fight like hell and don't quit. Your life may depend on it. Also, do NOT get too drunk in public, stay where it is well lit, and maintain situational awareness!

Nick! this DoD happen to me in San Diego this year 4 months ago some where, as I had been distracted long enough to get a 2X2 popping me on the head, and falling to the ground sort of dazed. only to find myself at 57 years of age fighting a young street thug! not a good thing and place to be in.... So I get a kick to the leg, hard, then realizing this ass was going to Stomp me! I did this EXACT MOCE YOU SHOWED IN THIS VIDEO. This afforded me seconds to extract my stun gun out and strike his inner thighs! then HE went down cussing and telling...i was still shaking from weakness and rage when I started a kick to his nuts. HARD.......he threw up and I finished him. Your videos over the past few years, Nick, has been of GREAT VALUE TO ME...

Defending yourself from that position is simpler than that. All you need to do is keep your feet pointed at the enemy and kick like you're running in place the moment they are in range. Keep your arms up near your head and be ready to jump to your feet if they're about to fall on you (if you're kicking like you mean it, you might knock them down) or an opening to escape comes up. I learned that growing up and It worked great in every case and I never got hurt. Of course if they have a weapon it's a different story.

I guess it's all about timing. 4:08 you should have been on your feet, you literally have 1 second, if you miss the opportunity you're out flanked and in major trouble. My kids do BJJ and are quite effective, but it's only a starting point I tell them never go to ground in a real fight. Always take advantage and fight dirty, there are no rules on the street. Great vids by the way.

Doug. Honestly for real you've allowed yourself to become involved in this primitive flailing around and causing death? Or able to cause death willy nilly? Number one bucko, a smart human stays away from these insane situations. Killing ain't cool unless it is to protect your life from someone who stepped into YOUR world to cause you or your loved ones harm. To actually involve yourself in a 'stomp' is like a drug addict trying to get a fix. You do know what I am saying. Get off that drug bucko. Save it for when your life and the lives of your family/friends/pets need protection and that warrior rush will come in handy. Are you able to control your...urges? If not, you need to be courageous enough to get help.

I seen someone get stomped like it was an assembly line. one guy grabbed the victim's legs and dragged him through a line of like 20 guys, ten on each side, and as the vic was dragged, they just all stomped him as he passed by. this was in jail btw. so that's why there was so many fuckin' people beating up one dude. then after the stomping to the body, one guy just blasted his face and then they rolled his ass off. all over a five dollar bag of coffee that he borrowed but could not pay back because he was getting released the next day and store wasn't until that next week. so they said bro you can't pay back, we gotta satisfy this issue. fuckin' sent him to the icu over five bucks.

In a situation like this with multiple attackers if you have a knife get it out and use it, cut their legs a few times and they will back off (or better still run) giving you time to get up and run or if you have to, defend yourself from a standing position at least. That's why I always carry an edged weapon, it may save your life in a situation like this.

Can we do the same thing on cement? Cause, not a lot of people get stomped on smooth hardwood floors. What if there is a group of people trying to stomp me? Which pair of jeans should I grab? I know if I'm outnumbered, I'm going for the balls. I'm going straight for the balls. Then if you're able to get up, you run for your god damn life. Or if you're a crazy dude, you grab someone's face and bite their face until they squeal.

@666zardoz8 жыл бұрын
I like that you showed a specific way to get off the ground - I still spar occasionally, including ground work, and it is amazing how most people don't have a clue how to simply stand up - and many instructors don't break it down and teach it - as a "courtesy" sometimes folks take a step back to allow their downed opponent to get up - that's fine when practicing a specific technique/take down whatever, but in a fight/assault you gotta have actually practiced getting up! I also like the way you keep the leg on the ground tucked in as much as possible - if you don't someone can and will stomp on your foot and/or ankle and then you are f@#%ed. Great video as always!

i think i would grab the first attackers leg from ground and immediately draw myself to the attacker then use that attackers body as a brief shield against the attacker. you can easily grab the attackers leg and throw him off balance then evade and get up and take on the second attacker. also it always good too have a combat knife (two) one strapped to your ankle and another one on your strong side in this case weather your on the ground you can slice openthe attackers calve or ankle tendon.

In the old days there was the rule of 'one on one', but since the Second World War it is rare to see such. And if you are facing an actual gang you can almost guarantee that all of them will attack you (and at once, unlike in the films). If you cannot get up then make yourself into the foetus position, arms protecting your face and head, legs protecting the crotch, and just hope it soon stops.

It looks like if confronted by a 2 on 1 like this, the best defines is to get up as quickly as you can…the longer you remain down on the ground the less likely you can get out of the situation…unless, and this gets into more advanced techniques….you quickly, ( lightning fast ) dispatch of 1 opponent, rendering him immobile for at least 5 or 10 seconds, preferably more…which frees you up to defend against the other attacker…otherwise great video for defending against a 1 on 1 …..
@Little_Milk1203 жыл бұрын
If any of you are ever in a position to have to worry about this; I hope you are the victim and just defending yourself BUT keep a pen or a pen knife with you. When shit is looking grim just jut it into their leg or arm. Run. I box so more often than not I will outplay the enemy but a street fight ain’t always 1 on 1. Just do what you gotta do and split

watching the first minute of this video and you never ever be able to grab and hold his pants. tuck your jaw in,get your head above your chest and kick the second assailant(ofc there are at least 2) against his shin,knee to gain a second. you need to suck up the kicks from behind and get up the opposit direction from where the kicks are coming. hard to stomp someone who ist sitting. i am no expert,i know it's not much. but i actually got out this way,it worked at least in my case. i doubt grabbing pants worked even once.

I'm sorry, but this is total crap. If you're ever at risk of getting stomped, you've got to go into full physco rage war mode & immediately attack your opponent's leg(s) however you can. Staying on your back is the worst thing you can do. Your opponent will expect you to be in full underdog defense mode. You've absolutely got to surprise him by bringing your very best, most desperate life-on-the-line level of aggression in order to put him on his heels so that you can hop up & then destroy him.
