hm, well, that is bascially not a blockchain. That is a Hash Chain, which is a pretty old concept. Have a look at Hash Chain and my dear old friend Leslie Lamport, who is well known for the concept of the Hash Chain in Cybersecurity. I know, you young folks don't know this and think, blockchain is the NEW thing :) A hash chain is similar to a blockchain, as they both utilize a cryptographic hash function for creating a link between two nodes. However, a blockchain (as used by Bitcoin and related systems) is generally intended to support distributed consensus around a public ledger (data), and incorporates a set of rules for encapsulation of data and associated data permissions.
