Why do you use so much chat-gpt. I mean even if you create the app did you learn anything? Most of what you have written is generated by chatgpt, I didn't see that you have looked at any documentation. Please don't take offence on this, but more and more developers are just showing what chatgpt has written for them and not what they have come up with. :D

@@dreker337 Yes it does, but it gives a lot of wrong information, also you start depending on it and lose even more skills because only thing you know is asking chatgpt to do something for you

You've got a point, but I don't think it will ever be "the only thing you know", as developing a fully functional Flutter app is completely impossible using only GPT models (as you said, sometimes it pulls out the answer from its own a**). Learn to incorporate it into your work, just like all of the existing tools you already use, and you will be a much better developer by the end of the day 😊

I think chatgpt is just a better google at this point. Especially for me who does know fundamentals of programming and building apps, it can just write some things for me so that I don't have to spend my brain power on the simple stuff like the specifics of how to parse a string in dart so that it can detect if a word starts with an @ a # or a space. I would have to stackoverflow that anyway, but now chatgpt can write the function for me and I almost don't have to think. I can instead focus on trying to understand how Bloc works. Not sure if this means I lose out on learning in the long term. I feel like for anything that is actually complex, I still need to work a lot with the code that chatgpt provides to make it actually execute properly without errors.

@@Hallden_ I agree and disagree a bit, I started python programing for fun and because some of your videos inspired me. As I started using chatgpt and writing python code which runs :D I felt great, but then trying to take out chatgpt and think on my own showed me how "blind" I was, and thought I know more than I actually know.

I might open it up for this at some point however last time I did, it got a bit overwhelming. So we'll see, I do really like the idea of an open source project and creating a small team or something. But right now I'm just trying to enjoy tinkering at my own pace hehe😅 I really appreciate you both for reaching out, genuinely hard to believe that people want to be a part of my projects, very cool!
