A short video showing you how to use Bimmercode to change your instrument Cluster to different modes and allow you to customize it to the option you choose.
There’s the M Version, Alpina and M Sport with different MPH settings. Then I also show you how to change your I drive to have a different start up animation. Hope you enjoy.
This should work on any new G series BMW and any that already have the new digital Cluster that bmw offers.

Have you considered removing the resonator? There’s such a big difference when it’s removed while sports plus is coded, and no drone either!

Thanks for the video. The M option is the best but somehow when the transmission is in Sport mode the indicator for the gear disappears, and when I activate the manual it appears back… Does it happen to you also ?

This is Normal it only shows your gears when in manual. Then if you don’t use it it will revert back to full auto and just show D

Hey I am considering an m340i 2020 used. I am worried about the reliability though I know people say b58 is reliable but its a BMW lol. How has your been? Is it expensive to maintain are the parts that expensive etc? Would be coming from a q50 Infiniti

These recent bmw engines have been extremely reliable. I wouldn’t let the stereotype concern you. Parts are a bit more expensive but it’s a luxury European vehicle so no way really getting around that if you’re looking at a Bmw, Merc, Audi, ect unfortunately. I haven’t had to buy any expensive parts myself yet.

It dims according to the lighting around you. You can adjust the brightness with the small lighting wheel to the left of the steering wheel (or right if your car is right side drive.) Though, if your front windows are tinted this may be affecting the automatic lighting.

Hello mate, i recently bought second hand bmw g20 330i 2019 and the bmw navi not working ( it takes forever to load ), also i cant connect apple carplay and myBMW app ( it says it cannot locate vehicle ), can you help me and tell what to do? It won’t affect it but if your car is updated everything you coded will be removed and you’ll have to code again.

But my Problem is, that the battery control on the right is missing. Do you know if its possible to get it back in the M-Cluster? Maybe in Expert Mode?

Unfortunately i don’t think you can. The 530e is an electric model and the M model is a full blown V8 without the same battery so it won’t have that option .

After coding the "M Performance" logo, I got an error, and whole my Live Cockpit was reset, and the whole car showed error messages, all instrumental cluster icons messed in the start, petrol indicator doesn't work.

Just in your head. It builds up slower since the total mph is greater but coding the cluster can’t have any effect on performance.
