Being a sysadmin I get multiple projects a week to write powershell scripts for our security team and other teams. The reality is that no UI is ever going to be as powerful and if it tried it would be a convoluted nightmare (even more than azure already is at times). This has made me an invaluable part of my team. Can't recommend PS or Bash knowledge enough. It's a steep curve at first but just understanding an intermediate level will be enough to leverage what's out there already in a safe way, let alone build your custom scripts that every company will inevitably need due to their quirks now or the quirks from 10 years ago you're trying to recover from.

welcome to my channel. I didn’t say if you can’t program u r bad, I certainly dont do any programming in my role. All I’m saying is that if you want to work in a security operations centre or incident response, scripting skills will help you automate repetitive tasks and will make you a stronger more employable cyber analyst/engineer
