Are you tired of following coding tutorials and not feeling like you're actually learning anything? You're not alone. In this video, I discuss the problem with the flawless delivery of coding tutorials and how it can lead to a false sense of ease in coding. I share my own experience with falling into the trap of tutorial hell and how I got out of it. I also offer practical tips on how you can take ownership of your learning experience and truly learn to code by working on projects and mastering the fundamentals. Don't let the polished perfection of coding tutorials fool you.

I sometimes watch coding marathons on Twitch. Still doesn't show the struggle of learning, cause these are typically experienced coders. It does however provide a more realistic picture of the process from idea to executable, the thought process, and approach to go about developing software, debugging, etc. (wrote this comment before seeing the end of this video)

I’m still learning as for some reason I don’t think I’m having that problem. As soonest I learn something new I try to implement it or play with it. I think learning a music instrument helped me develop creativity.

I noticed that too that my mind people give general good advice. I think the tutorials are good starting point just to kind of see if you like it and if you can handle just the job in and of itself. But yeah they don't really take the time out to explain the little things

freecodecamp toes a good line on this front. It's tricky because a learning site wants you to be able to complete their courses so they provide solutions. Ultimately, I would recommend you set s timer before revealing solutions to your problems, or find blogs for projects that are dated and therefore have bugs you need to fix yourself.
