Aside from Yankees destroying themselves I kinda believe if the Yankees had Cody instead of Rizzo in the WS they would have had a true shot to win the WS. The Yankees could have easily won 1 game with Cody that they lost and if they wouldn't have had that 5th inning in game 5 they could have been up 3 to 2. It's very possible Cody could have made the play at first himself. Rizzo didn't seem himself. The only thing I saw from Rizzo good was him slapping the ball to right field for a few hits seemed to be his approach knowing he couldn't hit anymore like he used to. Yankees still need another bat. Dominguez could be that but I'd rather the Yankees get 1 more bat and let Dominguez be the X factor improvement to the offense. 1 more solid bat infielder 2nd or 3rd baseman Jazz can be either or. Need an improvement to what Torres was hitting any improvement defensively at 2nd base is basically a given with him gone. With that they'll have improved the Pen, Rotation, Defense, and their lineup should be as formidable even without Soto on paper anyway as many would say.
