That's what happens when you truly understand the subtlety's of Cloud's personality, always trying to act tough will never work, there will always be a part of who you truly are that will come out from time to time, and Cody understands this, this is why we get so many incredible moments of the real Cloud peaking out from that tough exterior. It's amazing, he's the perfect Cloud Strife.

I would prefer if John had been nominated personally and that’s no shade to Cody because he was amazing but I feel like John had a lot more emotional nuance to work with as Barret and had to tap into a wider range because of that.

Cody basically redefined Cloud for me. I actually wouldn't have imagined Cloud sounding like Cody before Remake. After Cody, I can't imagine Cloud with anyone else's voice. It's silky. It's soft. It's sensual. But it can be heroic all at the same time.

I also voted for Cody at the golden joystick award because in my eyes he did an amazing and extraordinary job in voicing cloud and giving him so much depth. Can’t wait to see him act in the new sync movie that he took the main lead in. Thanks for the interview! Really some deep and thoughtful questions! Only point of critique would be to not move away from the microphone so often because sometimes it was hard to hear / tone was fluctuating a lot. Thanks though!! Also I think there is no other voice as soothing as Cody‘s in this world 😅

To say Cody "understood the assignment" would be an understatement. Well, you could say that of pretty much all the actors in the cast, but it's specially satisfying to see it in yhe main lead. I hope you and Brianna win those Golden Joysticks, Cody .and hopefully they won't be the last. :)

I'm waiting, Cloud! Do you know what I discovered in that man sion? Gene Nova. The Ghost in a Shell. And why was Odin locked in a safe. But forget all that for a moment as you contemplate the whispers of fate. How is it that a failed clone succeeded where upon the successful ones failed? Is this a mystery or a paradox? You know how the blue eyes are clouded by make energy, but you may recall how Cloud falls into the lifestream, or how Tifa is able to jump into a psychic world. Truly these worlds exist within the edge of creation. Seven years ago I received Shiva. It is rather inaccurate, her portrayal of an ice deity. One can only imagine what the whispers do when those black shadows are invisible to see. Yet why is it, the ancients can see these apparitions while no one else can. I still source the original game, where I rest upon the northern creator, imbued by the knowledge of the lifestream. It all began one fateful morning when I discovered matoyas herb, hold on a second, I'm on the wrong disk. It all began at the wishing well, when I made a promise to a girl. But I never made the grade so I hid my face beneath the mask. Later, the mako began to override my will, and I could feel him, the big S. Pushing my towards my inevitable fate from afar. The gene, nova, or as it is called in your tounge, jenova cells, began to reunite, however, which entity would accumulate the energy of all of those bodies. And with that I will end with a question, how many arms has Shiva? Really class to have a Christian on board the Cloud train. But without a Sephiroth our protagonist tends to get stuck at the honey bee. When I see a brilliant story that I absolutely resonate with the thought that courses through my mind is hold my beer.
