@RENEBOXYOUNG they just messed up letting go of Dave but in their defense.... in today's climate you can't knowingly have someone hosting your program that you know lied about their experience that got them the job. Allowing something like that to go on threatens the entire network and opens your company up to all sorts of bad stuff. So it was kind of just a rock and a hard place... but i wish they could've made him come out and apologize or something instead of letting him go bc that was the beginning of the end.

Cody has a lot more knowledge and understanding of physics than you would assume seeing him at first sight. Dave is obviously a professional trained fighter with great capabilitys to hunt and use his surroundings to his advantage. I like the two. Best survival show out there, even if it´s fake like all the others, at least they make it look convincing and thats a great job of the production.

Although these shows were recorded seasons ago they have such great value to new generations of willing learners. You have to agree that these two are a great team and beneficial match in the many situations and challenges they have faced together. I enjoyed many of their episodes. Learning survival skills with their two is an educational plus. Thanks, Dave and Cody, I'm 59 years old, and I know if I ever get in a fix, I could survive because of your fantastic shared knowledge. 👍

Yes I agree on the teamwork that Dave displayed with Cody. At first Dave was hesitant about hippie Cody. However he learned to rely on Cody without question. The hugs were the defining moments of the show. Well said!

I am bewildered as Dave I know that the first part of me that gets cold is my toes. With expensive wool socks and hiking boots. I am feeling so very vulnerable. Cody must be a certified freak of nature. I have seen him in the Rocky Mountains in winter in altitudes above 3000 meters wearing shorts and socks on his lower extremities. Increíble!

I do agree that these two literally do act like an old married couple. The bickering and the consistent b*tching and arguing that they do is a perfect example of this. These two were the best ones on this show. The second "host", Joe Teti was also a fairly decent "host", but the chemistry between Dave and Cody was the best. Sadly however I really doubt that the Discovery Channel would ever consider having Cody Lundin return for a re-boot, considering that Cody filed multiple lawsuits against the Discovery Channel. I mean anything is possible, but in this case, not probable.

Well, after Cody exposed them all I doubt that will happen. He admitted everything they did was fake, even the animals they caught / ate were all farm raised. 99% of the time he said they stayed at hotels or resorts instead of outside.

They need to bring back Dave and Cody. These two are a perfect example of 2 different survival methods AND are a team as well. They built a camaraderie that was the envy of any and all following attempts to have a real "Dual Survival" scenario. There were also times of light humor/laughter that was a nice element to the show. In other words........"Y'ALL got it right the first time and tried to fix something that WASN'T BROKE!! ) You should reunite them and make another season. I would venture to say that I am not the only viewer that shares these views or opinions that I have about Dave and Cody. Who out there agrees with me??
