My favorite of your boots are both pair of elephant, probably the yellow top would be my first choice. I’ve ordered several pair from Beck Boots and really like them. I prefer the underslung heel in at least 2” with a 14-16 inch top. I’ll give him a try next time I’m in that area. I live in Refugio, Texas. Y’all keep doing what y’all do, it’s very interesting.

Love the video. You have a nice handmade boot collection. I love my Ariats, and they’re affordable. Someday I’ll have a handmade pair. Before I lost weight I had a problem with my calfs shaffing when it was really hot and sweaty, long socks help for sure. My favourite are probably your newest pair.

I LOVE your cowboy boots, Bar 7 Ranch!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe and stitching on the toe. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :) I feel the same way you do about cowboy boots! 👍😎😊👊 I want a black pair next, maybe with the metal toe taps on them!! I have a lot of cow hides from when I did upholstery. Trying to find a home for them. Huge hides! Sone are natural, sone a peacock deep blue, navy, burgundy, hunter green, black n brown Im in smokies of western nc so I can ship. I lost my husband 10 yrs ago and been downsizing for king time. My favorite boots are Whites smoke jumper. I have 4 pairs been wearing them since 2005 and just send them back to get rebuilt. They are handmade in Spokane Wa. Great boots for wildfires or everyday. Same issue though. If you get custom made took 9mo to get my last pair. Thanks for sharing your videos. Nice collection of boots . Do you always have the vibrum soles and not leather ? Maybe leather for your dress boots ? I've never had custom boots , bought my first pair of Olathe. Going start wearing them riding this spring . Been Toni Lama and Justin, some Ariat throw away boots . Never again . I did buy a pair of Cody James boots made in Mexico , that are pretty comfortable . Will see how they hold up .

Cody..the point you made about one foot being a little different size than the other..is important...and a BIG difference between shelf boots and custom made. Not dissing good shelf boots...and usually any difference in foot size can be corrected with an additional sock of varying thickness...to even out the comfort.

Great video. I met Mr. Medina when I was stationed at Fort Hood about 10 years ago; his shop was about an hour away. I've had several custom boots made over the years. My favorite maker is CL Wallis out of San Angelo. He learned to make boots when he worked at ML Leddy. I own a few pair of elephant boots. My favorite leather is a toss up between pig (work) or kangaroo (dress).

I like the ones with the yellow topshafts. I have a pair of custom made boots on my bucket list and someday my idea is similar to those. I want a rust or copper colored elephant hyde, (maybe sueded) with yellow or gold colored topshafts with the Zia symbol stitched in red stretching across the boot shaft. I'm from New Mexico and it would resemble our state flag. Im not sure about the toe shape? Maybe 7toe/Jtoe or med round..
