I love how in the TWD show, they had Rick wear western boots and carry a Colt Python, whereas in the comic, he wore standard police issue boots and carried a Glock or some other police issue semi auto. I also love how in the show he took his iconic jacket off a killer and thief he killed, but in the comic it was his sheriff jacket.

It is nowhere close to realistic. Do really think any sheriff in Wyoming encounters as much crime as the show depicts? Not even close. It bet no Wyoming sheriff draws his gun while on duty in his whole career more than Longmire does in one season. Same with Yellowstone. Not even close to realistic. No ranchers go around shooting machine guns and killing multiple people. It is more like The Godfather set to ranching. Even the theme music sounds like Godfather music. But they are great shows none the less.

Have a pair of the Shawnees and they’re super comfortable. The distressed look they come with immediately grabbed my attention; Dutton factor is an added bonus!

It’s a relief knowing they didn’t actually wear the Yellowstone line, considering the Yellowstone line was limited time only. May be worth good money one day though for anyone who has a pair just for collection

I also have a pair of shawnees. So comfortable. Perfect heel height. They can be plainly seen in the very 1st scene on the 1st episode of Yellowstone where John has to shoot the horse after the bad wreck. He bends down to pick up his hat and there they are. Awesome/ simple boots. Costner is the man.

A high heel pull on boot is probably the last thing I'd wear when walking long distances are required. Nick's Handmade low heel lug sole would be better.

Said the were northern Canadian lizard (tongue in cheek), but maybe they are Boulets? Got made fun of a little on the show, but said they cost $600. Curious as to who made those?

They were custom alligators made by Lucchese. About 90% of the custom Western boots you see in films are supplied by Lucchese. Why? Because they do exceptional work in a short turnaround and for a reasonable price, and have never requested a wardrobers credit or special mention like big companies do. Costume designers HATE sharing credit with a corporation, since the designer alters and customizes the garments so much, it's really not fair to say "costume supplied by Wrangler." They go after companies like Lucchese or Eddie Bauer, who sell at cost and don't require credit or on-screen branding.

I only wear Lucchese boot and I can tell you the ostrich leg boot was the most comfortable boot I ever had on my foot and I have 13 pair of boots. It was my favorite

Justified is the show that got me into boots. I think anteater was only in season 1. I found the costume designer talk about how they dressed him. Both the anteater and ostrich leg are in black cherry.

ARE YOU SERIOUS BLACK CHERRY???????? I was COMPLETELY OBSESSED with Justified (maybe too much…) and I always read they were cigar brown! I even went so far as to shoo as CLOSE as I could to Raylan’s wardrobe in the show; lots of flannel and henley’s, the horseshoe ring, and I bought a Stetson Marshal Hat that they sold on the Justified website! The hat on the show was a Barron but I didn’t know that until later…ALSO, stocked up on Levi’s 501 jeans since all he wore. Can you post a link to where Patia Prouty says black cherry???

He wore the Anteater boots in season 2 too. The ostrich leg didn't come in until season 3 when Raylan started showing his boots off a lot more. Amazing show and absolutely fantastic books!

Rick has the best style in the show, imho. The boots, the shirt, the jacket... I also liked Negan's style a lot, with the engineer boots and the leather jacket, but Rick beats him any day of the week. One of the first movies that impressed me immensely as a kid was "For a few dollars more". I loved the scene where Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef tread on each other's boots, as a form of d*ck measuring. And ever since I love cowboy boots, but here in Europe they are not easy to find and usually are either too squared or too pointy. I also loved the contrast between Clint's beige suede (?) boots and Lee's black shiny boots. I would like to see a video on those.

Ok the boots the great mr Costner is wearing in that picture are my favorite pair that I own those are the justin ctackes bent rail small square toes and these are actually some of the softest and most comfortable boots I own

Hay from Canada. I know you like Boulet (so do I, I have 3 pair) Check out "Hart Land" a CBC produced series, one of Canada's longest running shows. (My wife is addicted) any way getting back on track the boots they wear are either Boulet, Alberta Boot or Canada West. My money is on Alberta Boot. If you can find the time to research your Canadian fans would probably like to know. Like I've said before, love your channel, keep them coming.
