We also see HHH subtly trying to bury him, why a feud with Lesnar and no legit wrestlemania rematch? Cody did mention Brock was a gatekeeper. HHH is still steaming from that throne stint and of course Mr Shield had to bring it back up in the WHC tournament and of course more interference from Lesnar costing Cody his shot at the WHC.

@@theawardgoesto1 bro how do WWE fans still not understand how the story flows. They’re taking their time and building Cody up for the rematch + letting Reigns get to 1000 days. They’ll either fued at sumerslam or Wrestlemania. Sit back, grab a drink, kick your feet up and enjoy the story and trust the process. Remember it took Dianiel Bryan a whole year to get his titles while feeding with the authority and he was red hot the entire time. Also to note the WH belt is not for Cody, Cody’s story lies in the undisputed belts. The WH belt is most likely gonna go to Seth for however long.

@@kennythetrend3688 nah, I think it's being looked at wrong. Cody never disliked WWE. At least not fully. He never really blamed WWE for his struggles. But he understood that he IS someone of value, regardless of whether he wanted to be or not (I say this because he talks about how there was an extended time when he didn't even WANT to be a Rhodes, because he believed it put a stamp on him that he didn't really want, or as he later realized wasn't ready for) The song isn't really a middle finger to WWE specifically. It was a middle finger to EVERYTHING. And now that he is back, it's really a middle finger to his past, and how he is stomping it out to make room for his future 💯

@@wuthurer I mean...MJF was his "sidekick" but was obviously only putting up with Cody to make it to the top. I think it would have been cool to see Cody and MJF team up as heels. Also, Cody is a PG Babyface, which AEW has some, but he is literally the closest thing to John Cena since Roman Reigns when it came to how artificial his Babyface character was. But I do think he does fit well in WWE, but that's mainly due to it being PG, his character being a lot like Cena's, and because WWE fans haven't SEEN this version of Cody if they weren't watching ROH, NJPW, Impact, or AEW in the last 6-7 years before he came back to WWE. So he got that freshness to the WWE audience, but hardcore fans like myself have seen Cody be this somewhat 1 Dimensional baby face since 2018 and got sick of it, which is why AEW fans started to boo him. No hate towards Cody, but he just was getting too repetitive in AEW, especially with his promos.

It took so long because Cody never sold it. The NJPW guys sell the things they want the crowd to yell lol. As soon as Cody started selling it, the crowd reacted. They don't call wrestling fans dumb, they call them the opposite lol.

I just got back into wrestling from since around the time he left. At first I was like WTF. Two days later, I’m like “Whoooooooaaaaaaaaa” 😂❤ I can’t believe he used to be Stardust. So happy for him.

That speaks more to the platform that the WWE provides than anything else. When you’re used to being the brand that sets the standard you learn how to manage and market your talents. That’s why the production of their product has always been superior even when their product has gone through slumps.

Mid way through 2022 yes. WWE fans did that for him. WWE Fans. Promotions can be compared and weighted for pros and cons, but as far as fans are concerned, WWE have the best most hardcore ones. They love being part of the wrestlers entrance more than anyone and it shows ❤

kzbin.info/www/bejne/r36bf4h8mJqafMk - its cool that you love WWE and all but lets not revise history. The AEW fans were already doing this, Cody just didnt play into it, he did his whole pyro thing at the top of his entrance. And even at Wrestlemania when he returned he didnt play into it either. So it wasn't the fans but most likely someone in WWE creative that advised him to wait and play into the moment or it may be that Cody spotted it himself because of how long the rampway is in comparison to AEW so he needed to switch it up, especially since he was no longer going to be rising from underground which used to be his marquee moment

i forgot to tell you this but i figured this out yesterday! if you find a lot of void totems and you don’t need that many they can be used on the uncrafting table from the twilight forest. they will turn into regular totems of undying! this has already helped me a lot
