Cody winning one of the best main events in Wrestlemania history to finally finish the story What an emotional roller coaster ride that whole storyline & match was.
@joshuaeason34264 ай бұрын
Have you rewatched the match? I didn't really get a chance to process everything as it happened live, the match Cody and Roman put on before the shenanigans went on was like a stroll through wrestlemania history. It was a masterpiece. edit: by shenanigans, I simply mean the (predictable) outside interference stuff. I don't mean to imply I didn't enjoy every second of it. I definitely did.

Being in the arena for WrestleMania 40 was something I can't put into words... It may be biased but for my money that might have been the greatest conclusion to a story in WrestleMania history. The sheer emotion over the course of a near 2 year story, the characters involved, the real life heat... Just can't write stuff like that

When Cody start his career in the WWE,was a mid card wrestler,after the stardust gimmick didn't aged well. But Cody didn't gave up. Started from the independent wrestling, betting on himself and recreate his own career from the beginning. And some years later finish his story and became a WWE champion. To not have Steve Austin on the Mount Rushmore of wrestlers is absurd! Great episode!
@JesusIsComingSoon3164 ай бұрын
Kind of shocked. He was talking about numbers a lot. Austin’s numbers shatter everyone’s, including the highest before him in Hogan. If it’s a honest Rushmore, taking into account household names, money, promos, in ring, legacy, and what they meant and did for the wrestling business, the list is Hogan, Flair, Austin, and Rock. Even then, one can argue about Flair in terms of numbers, one can say Cena is more famous and made more, but that’s when legacy and influence come into play. Cena made more, but there would be nothing to make without a guy like Flair paving the way for you to make it in the first place. Those 4 are THE guys. Not Cena, Taker, Bret, Shawn, all guys who I love, but the names are Hogan, Flair, Austin and Rock, bar none.
