He's suffering because he IS boring. He's bland on the mic, with his promos have little to no substance. Therefore, what's the point in watching his 'good' matches If he doesn't give me reason to care?

Roman was right. He's a good number 2, but Roman will always be number one.. Cody should go for the raw heavyweight champion or the intercontinental champion or the US champion. I think he will be a great mid card guy at best.

Cody just simply isn’t as talented nor as compelling a character as Roman. It’s not hard to figure out. The Tribal Chief is just Levels Above - Cody included. All Cody’s delusional fans overhyped the guy for a year, now the fact he doesn’t have mega star talent is coming to light.

Cody Rhodes do need to have the Seth Rollins 2019/2023 type of reign with the edginess and unpredictability to his character/reign. That formula could help and save his run as champion. I also think WWE needs to play hot patato with championship for a while you can build other main eventers as well. How did the Attitude Era work with the title?

Tbh from watching, The Bloodline really hasn't left him alone, It started off great with AJ Styles but it just ended their and went right back into the bloodline but I wont say his run has been dull when its not over yet, hopefully they are cooking something up after SummerSlam, we all know Randy is gonna turn on Cody soon.

They should turn him into a anti hero kind of face and get him a minion or 2 that he saves from getting jumped, he does what he wants whenever he wants but still has morals then he slowly turns heel with his minions starting some faction of some sort……………..

Here's the main reasons Cody Rhodes is boring. It took two years for him to win the championship (three years, actually but the story took two)and it was all about fulfilling Dusty's dream. Not Cody's dream. Now that he's captured the the title it needs to evolve into his title and building up his dream. Keed it fresh. Roman Reigns had the bloodline, Paul Heyman and The Rock. And he had the title for more than 3 1/2 years. It's like Cody against the world here lately. He hasn't had a great fuid yet. AJ Styles was good but he needs a heal to sink his teath into. But his personality isn't an edgy type of character. He's a clean cut, suit wearing baby face that isn't in attack mode and he doesn't look like a wrestler. He could also have a little bit more edge. Some more attitude. And he gives into other wrestlers demands for a match too easy. He needs to dictate the demands, be more aggressive and more physical. He also needs to be in a faction. Kinda like the young bucks or the bloodline. He needs to be the leader and build on his strengths. He's an above average promo guy and a good wrestler. I think Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and LA Knight would work. I know they did this before, buy this could be a more permanent thing. That way it'd trump the bloodline and other story lines could branch off of that. Cody Rhodes is good but with some better stories he could be great!

First of all Rock & Stone Cold were both box office stars, secondly it's the champ that has to make these feuds interesting. Roman made every feud he had feel important by his acting, whereas Cody isn't capable of making others feel important. The reality is that Cody is not world champion material, but he can be an ambassador for your promotion.
