I would really not recommend juice cleanses for weight loss. You miss out on the fiber and full feeling you would get from just eating the same exact ingredients that are in those juices, but in their raw form. Plus, it takes your body more energy (aka you burn more calories) to digest raw foods as compared to when they are already liquefied.

Hi Bonnie (and Joel!), The main thing to do after a juice cleanse is to continue snacking on fruit when you feel hungry in between meals. This is because your body has been made to crave sugar from the juice cleanse but it needs good sugars. Make sure you eat something when you wake up to start off your metabolism (I suggest something with lots of fibre in for breakfast after the juice cleanse!), and keep to small meals and snacks and don't eat after 12 hours of your first meal and make sure your last meal is around 12 hours before you want to wake up. Our bodys go into fasting mode for sleep and it's really important to balance between eating time and sleeping time for your hormones and it means you will be more aware of when you are hungry and when you're not hungry/just need a snack. :) This is what I have found to be the most useful to me but other people may have different opinions.
