Not really. You gotta remember what made certain characters "good" last season is how they could deal with the top 3 characters. Cody can NOT beat Akuma in top play. He gets thrashed by Karin as well. So he wasn't a good character. We'll see this season though.

But I do agree about Karin is not an easy matchup for Cody but Akuma is not a threat for Cody players . Especially with Cody's vskill2 Akuma can't do a pressure gaints Cody's vskill2 . Akuma will be force to do an air hadouken

Dadae Davis I’ve seen lots of Cody’s take on Akuma pretty well. Now Karin, Rashid and Cammy to an extent, not so much. And that’s mainly do to their offensive tools. Just my opinion though. Hoji goes to my locals time to time. I’ll ask him what he thinks about the matchup.

Have you tested to see if Balrog's new V-SKILL is an upper/mid attack evade? I watched the recent vid you posted for matchups against Zangief and I think you evaded a jump-in fierce-kick at 1:54. Really, man… I watched it about 10 times at half-speed. Seems like you would have been caught if you had not done the V-SKILL. It makes sense though because Balrog is literally “bobbing and weaving.” Just thought this suggestion might help you postulate some more possibilities, one flat top to another. This is what happens when you start at SF4. Crime Sway is Zero 3 original shit. KOF98 Extra Mode Sidestep. Smug needs to remember.. he can attack out of that sway. Don’t try to time it..
