Yes, in the Undertaker’s debut match at Survivor Series (The 5 vs 5 classic) he came in as this dominating figure. During the match, Dusty Rhodes let Taker throw him over the top rope. At the time, this was HUGE. And the first big moment for the Undertaker.

People only seem to ever have good things to say about Undertaker in an industry where slagging people off in shoots is commonplace. Even Ultimate Warrior during a shoot was complimentary of Undertaker when discussing working with him in 92 and he pretty much put down everyone from that era. Undertaker is also a smart guy who knows that making new stars means better business for everyone so giving Cody his moment to get over means down the line he'll be more valuable to the company. It isn't the competition he's talking about. It's Taker. He's different. Since his return as the Deadman, Taker has been one of the more selfless people in the industry barring the time CM Punk pissed him off. But that was more that Punk should've spoken a bit more....carefully. If he had told Taker that his character wouldn't dress in a suit and tie, but would reject it, it probably would have gone over better.

I love this so much dude, it's not Cody Rhodes the wrestler telling the story, it's Cody Rhodes the kid who grew up watching taker who's telling it and the excitement is amazing! I'm so glad taker let Cody have his moment!

Undertaker is by far the GOAT of WWE for me easily, always showed up for the business, put people over when necessary, offered so many performers to break the streak (they deserved it too) until another one that deserved it accepted it, and was an all worldly performer at his size for 3 decades and is by far the most respected guy the business ever had.

After watching the Undertaker's docuseries there's no doubt he's as respected as much as Cody is going giddy for him in this video. In the docuseries when Undertaker shows up EVERY wrestler in the arena wants to say hi and talk to him and he looks like he genuinely loves to talk to each and every one of them.
