Cody is very good with such a deep tone. And he seems like a humble genuine person. Thumbs way up. Elvis sang this song only twice maybe, live. It is difficult to sing and can damage the vocal cords. Elvis knew that. I saw him perform in Portland in 1977 and he did not sing it then. But he did sing 'Hurt', which was a big hit at the time.

John, just my opinion but I would have thought " Hurt " would have been the harder to sing out of the 2 songs, I saw him on one of the you tube channels where Elvis sang hurt for the last time. Man did he give it his all.he was Absolutely tremendous🌹😭💔💕🙏🏼

@@susanrimmington5067well the reason why if i can dream is harder is because you need to make your voice very raspy while hitting the high notes which can really damage your vocal chords.

Everyone can sing a song but too express you’re feeling into a song is a different kind of singing. This is a good performance but the way elvis expressed himself during this song it brought my emotions too a whole other level.
