We all know with the LS basic design if they didn't have the cubes they would have nothing no horsepower or torque gm's idea of engineering is how do we get another LS I know let's stroke it. Haha I love it how older generations believe you need a big of motor to go hard it's pretty funny honestly and one-sided but each to their own.

paul is the reason why when i decided to get my first car, i had no problems with going with an ecoboost over an older v8. Everyone saying get the 5.0 because thats what everyone thinks is cool and people tend to diss ecoboost owners, but fuck that because every since fast and the furious one with that ecplise and the turbo noise..i wanted a turbo car and i dont care what people think of my shit as long as i like it and it looks and sounds good to me with the blow of valve/spooling sounds, i dont need no loud ass v8 thats going to waste twice the gas lol.

@@kikomartinez9062 pretty reasonable power with the mods he has. I have a fk8 but not as modded as cody but definitely did a lot of research on the fk8’s. Cody has a prl titanium turbo inlet pipe for better cooling and more airflow paired with the intake, and a way bigger then stock prl front mount intercooler with better cooling charge pipes. Exhaust, and downpipe which also helps a little. Only thing he really needs to get more power is the prl flex fuel kit. Other than that with a hondata street tune with all the parts and upping the PSI which stock is 23 pounds of boost these cars will move on the track or the streets and being fwd will weigh less then its competitors out there like the sti, golf r, and rs 🙂

That's the thing about turbo cars, they're usually tuned conservatively from the factory. Intake, exhaust, IC, tune/boost increase can typically result in 20-30% more power with most turbo cars whilst still maintaining reliability. At this point most engines are out of turbo and injectors, which is where things begin to get a little expensive from there.

These cars easily make 380-400whp with basic bolt-ons and a tune, 450 to 550whp with drop in turbo upgrade and 680+whp with large turbo/fuel system Typical guy who doesnt know what he is looking at

This Type is a global car Engine built in the US Assembled car in UK Sold in Japan as it is all around the world The FK8 in Japan is the same as the FK8 in the US The fastest Hondas in the world are built in the US and Honda is moving assembly of the new Type R to the US - most likely Ohio. Engine and Car will be US assembled for the global market

I like Japanese cars, particularly from the late '60s to mid '70s, but I also like some of the hot rods guys are building out of the cheap '90s cars. However, this stealth-fighter thing is not for me. Not in a Civic Type R nor in a Lamborghini Aventador. And I don't need curves, the Datsun 510 is one of my all-time faves, I just don't get the angular, lets-see-how-much-trim-we-can-tack-on look. That said, this car is probably fun to drive.

Let me know how good the 510s aero is at the Type Rs 174mph limiter lol Nothing tacked on - functional aero makes a difference on track where this car stops fron 60 in 101ft, will run high 11s with the tune thats on the car and pull over 1.2g on street tires....multiple track records around the world including a 7:43 at the ring which beats V12 laborghinis from just a few years ago and thats with only 300hp.....Codys is around 430-450hp - easily much much faster
