Who knew that I would enjoy a 20 min video with Jesus and his wife walking around st Augustine at 3 am instead of sleeping but I did and I might do it again tomorrow.

My first visit to St Augustine was years ago and we took the horse drawn carriage ride with the very best driver/tour guide. We walked through all the incredibly beautiful churches, walked the old fort when they did a cannon demo. The museum and incredible artwork. The Blvd of shops all over were incredible.... Subsequent trips were spent discovering what we previously missed... So much to see and do there. Christmas time is very important too, very pretty. Needless to say we have walked miles there.

My husband and I just purchased an RV and we plan to hit the road soon. We’re in our 70s. Looking at your boondocking from 2yrs ago we plan to try to find a few places. That’s what makes us nervous it not finding a place for the night. I wish you had GPS coordinates in your description so we could find it but understand you probably want those places. Love your videos and especially all the cooking. We have lots of videos to catch up on. Thanks for everything. 😊

I'm a native born Floridian and I gotta tell ya I'm glad to finally see St. Augustin. It's one of those places as a kid and younger adult that I just wasn't too interested in. Now that I'm no longer in Florida I deeply regret not visiting and playing tourist while I had the opportunity to. I know a 10 hour drive doesn't sound like much but I'm still learning how to navigate with only 1 leg but soon enough I'll b driving again. Happy trails and safe travels to you both!

Excellent video! You guys always do such a great job. Trivia fact: Pensacola is the oldest settlement. It was settled in 1559, lasted two years, before being destroyed by the local native Americans. In the meantime, St Augustine was settled and Pensacola was re-settled as a permanent settlement. You said it right though, St Augustine is the oldest continuous settlement, but Pensacola was originally settled first. It's an ongoing debate we like to share. I do like St Augustine, and my youngest daughter graduated from Flagler University there. So, I do have ties, and the two cities have a lot of similarities. As always, enjoy following you and come back and see us again in Pensacola! Don

I've been to St. Augustine twice. Once as a kid with my family and the second time in 2018 while I was in Jacksonville for a good friend's wedding. I also didn't like the taste of the fountain of youth water. It smelled like rotten eggs. 😆 As we stood atop the Castillo de San Marcos fort, the soldiers set off the cannons twice. It was pretty loud and really cool. Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes. It's always hot, humid and muggy there so dress light.
