Only people that genuinely enjoy life get that excited about lights. It's great to see someone enjoy the seemingly small things in life, because it's those small things that truly make life better.

Adjust the anticipator on the suburban thermostat to longer cycles. This will prevent short cycling and furnace will cycle less times an hour but will run longer during the heating phase. Under the cover or on back of T-stat, an adjustable dial or or straight resistor bar with #’s .2 to .25 and generally states “longer to shorter cycles. Set to longer cycles at the longest settings for winter in a camper. An electric heater is a good option to have when you have power.

Hello, Love your channel, my wife and I are buying our first cab over camper. Seeing your life in your camper helped us make decissions. About the 6.7L ford engine, do invest in the SPE MOTORSPORT 6.7L POWERSTROKE DISASTER PREVENTION KIT, it is approx. $400 and it will save you lots of money if the engine driven fuel pump does go out. ( The fuel pump is a weak design for the newer engines as they increased the fuel pressure and used the same earlier model fuel pump.) I also combat this by using Hot Shot's Secret Everyday Diesel Treatment, to help lube the fuel pump since they took sulfer out of our fuel. Also I found these help with the spot lights allot, OZ-USA 3" Clear Diffused Flood Lens Protective Cover for POD Cube Lights Fog dust Off Road Motorcycle 4x4 SUV ATV (1 Pair). Keep the vids coming!!! Thank you so much!!!

@Cody & Kellie: Have you considered installing a diesel heater in your truck camper to replace the propane heater? Im beginning to think about doing that in my travel trailer. No more condensation and no inconsistent temp regulation. In the interim, you could sub out the thermostat with a digital Honeywell for more accurate temp regulation than the thermostat you currently have. Mine has the same kind and subbing that out made a big difference in regulation.

theover head light mounted onthe camper facing forward is a great idea, but watch out for the cops on the road, IT NEEDS TO BE COVERED WHEN TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD BECAUSE OF THE HEIGHT OF THE LIGHT. in ca and the other 11 western states the law is , ANY LIGHT OVER THE HEIGHT OF 52" FROM GROUND UP IS ILLEGAL!, THEY NEED TO BE COVERED DURING TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD,ALSO THE REAR ! the light you see on jeeps that place the lights on the front , below the windshield in the front are legal as long as its not higher then 52" from the ground up., if higher they to need to be covered, . lights that are not covered , that need to be covered,COULD cost around 250.00 and up depending on the states your in, each state had different cost and laws? OTHER THEN THAT LOOKS GREAT!

The ford does have fuel system problems. I would highly recommend finding a shop to reinforce your frame. There has been a lot of trucks with truck bed campers fold in half. Seriously. Look it up. So I would highly recommend getting your frame reinforced. I mean if I am right I save your truck if I am wrong it’s costs you a little money but Gaines peace of mind at worst. But I know I have seen newer 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with their frames snapped in half hauling a bed camper.

You've changed the lift pump, FPR is a good educated guess. As do other manufacturers, Ford will have a procedure to test the mechanical pump (CP4), which I assume the shop performed with acceptable results (it's not really $10,000, anyway). Now, since this is an extremely intermittent problem, there's always a chance that it's something completely stupid such as a loose wire, which will be nearly impossible to catch in the act.
