I just saw Cody for the first time last night. During his meet and greet I asked him to play this song live in Tacoma. He chuckled and said maybe, he thanked us and walked off stage. I was born in 1970. Sometime in the early 90s my mom visited a traveling display of the Vietnam memorial wall. She found a name on the wall and I watched her start crying. What I love the most of these stripped down sessions is Cody’s demeanor. His eyes are closed 99% of the song.
