To me what makes Freddys glove even more iconic is the fact that he literally made it for himself. It wasnt a knife he snagged from a kitchen or an axe he took from a tool shed. Dude legit took the time to craft this thing and made it specific to himself. So its definitely HIS signature weapon, its legit apart of him

I would have included Pyramid Head with his Great Knife, even though he's only in 2 movies (about to be 3 when Return to Silent Hill cones out) and is more regarded as an iconic video game character than a movie villain. But still he IS in movies and is considered a horror icon, and let's be real he's got by far the coolest "knife" weapon ever. It's definitely the weapon I'd be the most intimidated by as well

I agree with this list except for Predator. I think his weapons, that shoulder laser shooter, the razor boomerang, that heat sensor...his signature weapons are the only reason why we watch Predator, so I think it's Flawless Execution. Awesome video!

Ever since I became a Freddy fan in the late 80's I've always wanted a real glove,but all we had at the time was that crappy plastic one from Spencers. I even remember taking my winter glove and taping my moms kitchen knives to the fingers(she wasn't too happy lol). But now I have several real gloves,sweaters and merchandise! And I've also got to meet a lot of the cast members,including Robert and Heather. My 12 year old self would've been so happy if he knew what was to come!

I have to disagree on Leatherface, you always put him so low, you just can't compare a chainsaw with a machete, you only need the noise of the chainsaw and people fall into a crazy amount of panic. It is a mortal, bloody, terrifying and amazing weapon and many games like Resident Evil 4 makes a good example of it. For me it's an easy Flawless Execution

In Slumber Party Massacre 2, the killer attaches the drill to an electric guitar. EDIT: Just saw you included it on the list. Both movies are silly fun. The first one is considered a feminist clasic by many. And the sequel is just bonkers with the killer performing a song with his guitar before he kills. I guess if you really love '80s slashers you'll get a kick out of them.

Ghostface uses a hunting knife primarily so, I'd rank it a spot higher than the kitchen knives. Some other weapons that I'd have loved on the list- Crossbows- You're Next Golf clubs- Funny Games Straight razor- Sweeney Todd Scissors- Us The Puppets- Puppet Master (not sure if they count as weapons or their own entities)
