Jungkook did have some tech issues, but this award show happened soon after bts had wrapped a tour so Jungkook and the rest of bts were also tired out and kind of pitchy in their group performance of Fake Love with Charlie as well.

He did! There were some tech issues with the earpiece and the sound he was receiving I heard for another reaction video that he may not be listening to himself pretty well. Also, he had just a surgery for the removal of his wisdom teeth (I hope this translation is correct jaja) so this also affected his singing. I believe there is also a Bangtang bomb were the other members are reacting to this and they comment something about it... or I don't remember if it was on a behind the scene

Jungkook's voice is so beautiful and he slayed. The tech issues were quite a lot in this whole performance and his wisdom tooth also got removed, so yeah, despite this he still sounded amazing. 5:06 if you watch the behind the scenes.. then doing these adlibs back to back was all jungkooks idea… then Jk adlibbing during another part with Charlie and then them saying the last line together was jungkooks idea too lol Charlie was impressed and said he was happy at how many ideas JK had about how they should do it and really focused on them both shining… it was super cute

Him singing 10,000 hours, At My Worst, Fix You etc. He also did a cover of Bruno Mars' LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN. And most of BTS' songs as requested by Army. Yes Cody , there were technical problems at this award show not only with JK , but with all of the members' in-ear mintors which was evident in their group performance later on in this award show where everyone was off-pitch , even JK whose pitch accuracy is known to be the best in the group ! Also JK had his wisdom teeth surgery a couple of days before this and you can see that the side of his face is a bit swollen . Jungkook was in an incredible amount of pain during this performance as he'd just had his wisdom teeth pulled. I had mine pulled and there's absolutely NO WAY that I could have sung the same day or even a day later. Jungkook's vocals are just Heavenly, even when he's not happy with his own performance. He gives us, ARMY, his all at all times even getting too exhausted like during the second 2017 concert in Chile. RM even told him at that time to slow down. ARMY is his heart and focus. It's one of the main reasons why he's so beloved by all his fellow members and the Fandom.

Yeah the tech issues were such a shame, the rehearsal was amazing. They also sang fake love and it was all over the place. So unfortunate, it could have been brilliant. Along with everyone else, I recommend you watch the rehearsal from the BangtanTV channel. ...And not the Fake Love performance ha.

@@CodyMcManus Yeah, even if you don't react there's a really cool behind the scenes of Charlie and JK first meeting, working out how they're going to sing this song together, it shows a rehearsal with all of BTS and CP, JK practicing etc. Even shows JK working out how he's going to fill the time with CP in btw songs until the rest of the setup and band are ready for the next song :D It's really fun and cool to see.

BTS has SOOO many great performances, but this one they were tired from their long tour that just ended (and their long performance later on). So it's way more pitchy than normal. But luckily there's a ton of great performance (unfortunately the best ones are not on youtube, which sucks).

Not just Jungkook.. for some reason ALL OF BTS MEMBERS had issues wit htheir earpiece... Only them.. They all kept giving cues to fix it but seems like no one fixed it.. at the same time Charlie had no issue.. After this BTS never attended this award again in person.. that's something they do if things go very wrong.. AAA, MGMA, Gaon Music Awards, Seoul music awards etc are some awards BTS stopped attending because they were not treated right!
