What a surprise! I recently found out about these bars, found this review, and realized that Jessie was a guide on a Trek Travel Ride Camp I went to in Girona in 2019!! Glad to see you are doing well, Jessie, and thanks for the helpful review. Solved the high price issue by getting a set of Coefficient bars 25% off on a post-Christmas sale: $300 rather than $400. Brings the cost down to about the typical level for a good set of normal carbon bars.

Excellent review. It seems these bars would help with hand/neck/shoulder fatigue on long rides. The price however, is a non-starter for me. Probably the price will decrease as other manufacturers get in the game. Good work Ms. Walker!

Great review! Is there flex when you put down power?

Great review. My bike is also fully mechanical. Curious if you had to fit longer cables, since you routed them internally? I might consider just taping the existing cables to the bars underside. Thanks!

Any ideas on how to mount front lights in this rather great handlebar?
@5gvaccinator343 Жыл бұрын
Many bike lights fit into Garmin mount. Even my super cheap towild br800 which I've got for 10 or 12bucks off aliexpress. So you just fit it instead of a computer or go pro.

The manufacturer sells a GoPro mount that fits into the under side of the computer mount

@@lukem525 great thanks! Yes, it was brought to my attention a few days ago… and I went ahead and bought one. Today I was riding nice gravel and mud trails and putting my hands where the new bar will be… makes total sense (the bar, not my “air handlebar” attitude 😂).

Interesting bars certainly would like to try them, as trying those hand position I did not realize how much tension my muscles where under on normal bars. Good review thanks 👍

Nice review! Should the stem length be shorter than it was before the replacement?
@christine9842 Жыл бұрын
keep the same length stem

The one thing I might suggest to the development team is dropping the center/computer mount so the airflow in more in line with the bar, rather than up and disruptive by itself. Thanks for a great review.

Why opt for this bar if you don’t like riding in the puppy paws position? Just assuming since you didn’t mention it 😁

Because the tops are super ergonomic.

Is this bar expensive because it is expensive to make or is it expensive because it is the only one in the market? If you were to own just only one bike, what would you chose? If you were on a budget, would you build your own bike and if so, what would you build? Please walk us through the process that you would choose.

The eyropro is similar and far less expensive, and I believe Deda has a new bar with some of the same features, also for less money.

Look at the Eyropro handlebar as it is the original design - copied by some that do not acknowledge the original designer.
@christine9842 Жыл бұрын
As you know, Coefficient has already proven in court that they are the original designer. This is not very kind of you to continue to try and slander their reputation.
