I wish we could put this on blast to children, mothers, fathers, grandparents and courts. If a child was raised, cared for and protected the entire time the marriage was in place by one parent, then all of a sudden in the divorce court the other parent is now asking for shared custody or even full custody, there should be some kind of red flag this sends to everyone. I always ask the questions who was the one who took them to the doctor? Who was the one who got them hair cuts? Who took them to get the equipment needed for any kind of sport? Who was the one who asked how their day was? Who made them take a bath? Who made them do their homework? Answer these questions and you know who was the protective parent. History gives us the answers, but coercive controllers alway are rewriting history. Keep making these video's and I will keep sharing them!

That depends, the issue with most. Is that from the point a child is like 5 or 6 they have the capacity to display a level on cognition. By 10 they are able to verbalise most basic emotions. . They will know the difference between people and wheather the felt emotionally safe or emotionally insecure. Fact they are also aware that they are a child in the care of one or both parents until they are 18. This is where the most serious danger lsy. For if they're forced to conceal it creates more instability in adolescent years. This is where they find it difficult to regulate emotions and potentially shut down in full open two way communication between people that are safe. Its is then required to be picked up by say the school, a friend or professional.
