I had noticed that there is a difference in the size of the squares, so it's good to know that is ok. I have found that working a stacked sc instead of ch3 at the start of a row, gives me a straighter edge. I bought 12 different colours of yarn, and I have decided now that I will wait until all the squares have been released and then work out the best colour for the remaining squares. Then I can substitute one of the bonus squares for a regular square if one doesn't appeal to me. I am not keen on the snowflake square - snowflake, sun & star are a bit similar. I take a screen shot of each of the squares, once I got the "hang of it", it does not take very long to complete a square. Thanks for all your efforts in bringing out a new square each month. I am thinking I might do a border around each square - maybe CJAYG. This will be my January 2025 project!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I agree, there are those squares that just don't "wow" in the same way as some of the other ones and that varies for all of us! I'm hoping to get a bunch of bonus squares out in the next few weeks. That way we have options as to which squares we want to make/use in the blanket before we start joining and working the border. Your kind words and support mean so much!
