It will work with the basket coffee filters too!! Only difference is those ones are a bit if a finer texture and more translucent which makes the end product more delicate. I would almost suggest using a watered down acrylic paint for the colouring instead of food colour. Good luck!! ❤️

I can't believe I have everything but the wire! Two dollar store's one dollar General, two Wal-Mart's and JoAnn fabrics. I can't find this wire. This is such a gorgeous project I can't wait to get started. I am going to try to make a garland and a wreath.

sadly.. this is a common thing these days with supplies of ALL sorts in stores. Maybe try online (amazon?)

Is there anything else I can paint the leaves with? I don't want to get bugs from the sweetness of the frosting.

I do not understand... no frosting is used? I use food colouring , which can be used to colour frosting. It should not contain any sugars or such. But you can use ink pigments, diluted acrylic paint, or even watercolour paints :) 💕
