What I feel good about the Shaw kid. NC, UNC specifically have had really good DL in their history. They could win 3-5 games in a season and still have 2-5 guys taken in the draft from their from 7 on defense. Really good athletes but maybe not as developed while there. I’m excited to see what KB can do to enhance Shaw’s performance and production.

Stone will not get his 1st start in the most pressure packed game in ages, humbling your kicker in practice is a good move for Yips, very good move

Coach Sark not using 5 wide spread offense to get out of lulls or go fast has been frustrating. Knowing Ewers strengths and what he knows best it is the best setting to let him show off and drive the field.
@Freddy-ls8xjКүн бұрын
i agree with this 1000%. He has had the personal to do this as well. Just a couple drives a game would really jump start the O and prevent those quick 3 and outs. It would also open up the intermediate game.
@Inboden69Күн бұрын
@@Freddy-ls8xj agreed, also when you drive and put the defense in conflict you can return to 11 or 12 personnel and run on them usually. either way, Ewers is from South Lake and the receivers are all fast so it just makes so much sense to me.

If we bang on OSU RBs like we did Skattebo then they will be hurting. That kid had heart and is a bulldozer over those guys. I know they’re good but the only Skattebo takes that punishment

I think we get home against OSU. Our pass rush is peaking and Howard isn’t near as mobile as Klubnik and Levitt I think our pass rush is the only part of our team that is in peak end season form. We need 6-8 sacks and tons of pressure
@Freddy-ls8xjКүн бұрын
I agree but think this O line is better then Clemson and ASU.
@DTraiN5795Күн бұрын
@ oh yeah they’re better but still think we’re peaking. I also think we sack Levitt 10 times if not for his escapability and insane moves he made. He surprised me. Klubnik too and Clemson Oline is not as good but good. I think Howard can’t do near as much tho so hopefully our edges take another jump. Imo we’ll need it and then we need to stop their short yardage passing game. Forcing them to go deeper. If we can’t stop the short tho probably won’t matter. We need to get a few TOs or 3 n outs. To give our offense more possessions. Then they need do better with time of possession and scoring. Rushing off the edge is the only real advantage I see to force Howard into bad throws. We’ve had an INT in 10 straight ball games. We need at least 2 plus none for us

Jerry, the average NFL head coach salary is 7mi, Sark makes over 10, playes in a league without parity; the Sabins, the Sarks will never go NFL, the NFL goes to those schools

He’s not going after this year…, there’s nothing wrong with NFL teams reaching out. It’s a compliment.

It is not all about money. Sark already has enough money. Texas would most likely match any salary offer. It is about proving yourself in the pros.

Im a little disappointed that no one gives us a chance in this game, even OTF family. You're not saying it but its obvious. Go Longhorns 🤟

Wait a minute. I give Texas more than a chance.

Maybe you don’t watch the channel enough. It’s definitely not doom and gloom. Rather, it’s been about game plan execution and not getting in your own way, in order to win this game. I personally love that no one outside of Texas’ fans and media is giving us a chance
@jamese9434Күн бұрын
We just need to embrace the hate so to speak. How often due we really get to play the it's the world against us card, as a Longhorns fan I'm enjoying this. Personally I dont believe Ohio st. Has faced a team as balanced top to bottom as us
@tlyke7Күн бұрын
@@tjjohnson927Actually I agree because there isn’t enough balance of what we can and should do to beat them. Constantly complimenting them more than us. And I watch them all. Yes, you can ‘respect’ them but it often sounds almost homer-like for OSU. Jerry is big on edge performance but remember how Michigan did it. If you put pressure with good blitz packages ‘sprinkled’ - if our linebackers maintain gap integrity, OLB protect edge runs, ILB spy and hit the gap on the runs. These are all things we have done this year but it is like prevent D at times - same on O. Sark just needs to play to dominate, not just win. I think even the players are deflated when the call isn’t the best. Remember Hoosiers with Gene Hackman?

If J Brooks hadnt of gotten hurt last year we would’ve won the natty last year If we had any RB from previous years since Sarks start we win this year. I love our backs but they’re either not ready yet or not them. RoJo, Bijan, or JBrooks this year and we win with this defense

Texas has a better offensive line than Ohio! What is in your coffee? Georgia defense pushed the longhorn offensive lineman in to the running backs play after play. Hook em horns but you HAVE TO BE ON THE TOP OF YOUR GAME.
