Thanks Both. This Leo and others I know feel the fear - alot!- but there's a lot of bravado and determination to push throught it. Bluster, bluster, bluster 😀 Was listening to the News Agents pod and John Sopel said the same thing as Mark re the Policeman's remark - Falter was an agitator and his intentions, particularly as he'd physically pushed the policeman - more than once! - were disingenuous. There's a longer 13 min clip where he's been spotted - by the police - crossing back and forth intentionally, so they rightfully stepped in. The language was a little gauche, but ultimately Falter was lucky not to have been arrested for assaulting a police officer. Really sad for Hugh Edwards - he seems like an honorable man, that had to hide so much to be accepted.

I'm sorry I'm confused, so in the uk, you can't contra protes ? I live in the US, so I don't know the laws in the UK. In the US, you can protest a marge as one group does not have more rights than the other they are separated, but both can go ahead .

No, the point was that this guy, Gideon Falter, is known to the Met police. He and his group are known to go in front of the marches to agitate them. He had already crossed in front of the march a couple of times and was trying to provoke them. You can counter protest but this group is known to want to provoke.
