Albert, time to sell your 991.1 GTS as the 992.2 is being released in North America in March of 2025. I am sure you can get good money for yours right now and get on track to buy a t-hybrid which is 541 HP. Cut costs by forgetting the Targa, configure the rear wheel drive, either a sliding roof or cabriolet. Forget about the stick shift for the faster PDK. Timing is everything.

I really appreciate your insight! The T-hybrid sounds like a thrilling option, and your advice on configurations is super helpful. Timing is indeed everything in this game!

Just like British weather then. Did the GTS suffer any fishtailing when accelerating hard? How would this rate against a 4 GTS ?
@Albertandcars2 ай бұрын
@@jami7772 yes that’s correct, very similar to British weather! My targa is 4GTS as well, and slightly heavier, but it held on pretty good on the damp cold roads. There were some minor fishtailing, which was self inflicted as I was really pushing the car, but normal driving is very planted and stable. Thanks for reaching out!

Beautiful! Have you considered doing something aftermarket for the exhaust? I have a 992S and I agree about the exhaust note being a little less than ideal; and I know it's capable to sound much better! Ive been considering doing the Akropovich slip on +/- the soul sport 200cel Cats.

@@amac8487 appreciate your support! As a matter of fact I have! I heard there might be a check engine light, hence I might wait until the new car warranty is over until I do any changes. Another point is if I do all the upgrades now, I won’t have anything else to upgrade in the future haha. I’m interested to see how the 992.2 exhaust sounds too, as the engine displacement is bigger 👌🏼

@@AlbertandcarsI have mine under warranty and don’t want to void that either… the exhaust will 100% be no issue with CEL, and SOUL performance says that their cats DO NOT cause a CEL. I believe it is one of the only ones that do. I contacted one of my local independent Porsche shops who does tons of race style work and they agree that soul is the only one to go with if thinking about Cats and CEL concerns. They recommended the Akropovich, as it’s their best seller for exhaust over all the others and most liked The guy I spoke to said the exhaust will change the tone and add 15-20% more volume. The Cats with the stock PSE exhaust will keep the same tone, but 20-25% louder, and hear substantially more turbo spooling and power gains. Both options aren’t cheap… over 5k for each one…. But my other cars (GT350 and C8 z06 ) sound worlds better…. And although I know I won’t get this to sound like a V8… it def needs some work to it

@@amac8487 o wow! Good to know too! Another thing I’m trying to look into is called the valve converter or something like that. Basically it just opens your value a tiny bit more, and that would improve the exhaust sound too, and I heard the system is under $1k or so. I’m still debating, but definitely going to do more research and go from there! Thanks for your input

@@Albertandcarsyes that seems like a very good option as well! Might be a good way to start, as it’s def the most affordable and super easy to reverse if you didn’t like it
