The top was in great condition. Natural top and painted bottom is my favorite way to up cycle a piece furniture.

I really liked the looked of the two colors on top. I have been wanting to try the wax for the protective coat. I will have to go find some. The table turned out so pretty.

What do you use for topcoat?

Usually clear wax from Annie Sloan or water base top coat by general finishes. I have used Annie Sloan liquid topcoat and don’t love it for top of the coffee table. Thanks for watching
