After two weeks in beautiful Italy it was time for a new place, rivers, coffee and to meet up with the rest of the Pistyll Productions crew (John Haines and Huw Butterworth). Chips has been going to Otztal for over 10 years and the kayaking never gets old or repetitive. With all the changes from the big floods in 2023, Chips was keen to explore different sections of the Ötztaler Ache to see if the Oetz was still as great as he remembered. Spoiler … the Oetz is still golden.
