One response to people who say you look angry is to get angry at them. I'd suggest a wiser response would be to use humour to make their comments seem laughable. (Not that I'd have thought that way as a teenager...)

Robert, just keep having fun at chess; if your opponent wants to trash talk in a fun way (like Carlini) then go for it just be respectful about it. There is absolutely no reason a human shit talks another human unless it's making them feel "good" or "accepted" in some way. Pay no mind to it.

definitely the early rook lift to a2 by carlini played a psychological factor in infiltrating the young masters position. He responds by pushing his e pawn and carlini clamps down on defending the loose b7 pawn as well as stabilizing the position of the knight. I liked his solid structure of white before so, as the rook is rather an empty threat and perhaps a target on a2. Not capturing the pawn on b7 in that move I could see as a future problem for white. Which became blacks hope in the position. Removing the b7 pawn while having the chance seemed key. Unless I am missing something.

I dislike using those small, round cafe' tables where you have to stick your coffee or food on the edge. The problem in a chess game is if the tall coffee cup obscures a piece.
