Anna, you still seem to believe that chess and blitz are the same game. The philosophy of blitz is pretty simple: play faster than your opponent without getting mated and you'll win every game you play, no matter what the board looks like or who has the better position. Being faster is usually much more important than being better. Chess is an art, a science, and a sport. Blitz is a sport. It's about the clock, not the position. The slower player has only two possibilities: mate the opponent or lose (on time) the game. And playing blitz probably does not improve your play in classic chess (i.e. your rating), where strategy is so important.
