I get constipated all the time (since a child). I'm going to get Doculace or whatever. My insurance doesn't cover it, but it's only $3 something for a pack of 30, so that's good. I also like Kroger Chocolate laxative ($2 for a pack of 24). Sometimes it's cheaper to buy stuff from the pharmacy over the counter, rather than at the store.

I feel your pain! Constipated my whole life. All those laxatives are harmful to the body in so many ways (I used to take them too!). After going through a bunch of health issues, my Naturopathic Doctor said to take magnesium (this kind especially below is fantastic) as it makes you GO, but has added benefits to the body.
