Every time I listen to this song, I cry because I remember my late father who was the war commander of a group of Islamic-based independence war fighters in Central Java. He was a hero of Indonesian independence. I am the youngest of his 11 children.

In English it is "Fallen Flowers", a national solemn hym dedicated to all fallen soldiers who died in their service defending the people, the nation. The song from the perspective of people, family, friends, children, parents on how we view them, how we send them off with utmost honor and apprecuation in a very emotional tone. Though the music sound very emotinally sad, but the lyrics is very strong and powerful, it made one cry of sadness that a hero is fallen but deliver a string message that it is all worth it, they do not die in vain but in glory. "My heart will not be tormented for my hero has fallen... My heart will not be saddened for I am left alone... My hero has fallen, his devotion of duty is fulfilled One falls, a thousand will rise... [For] the sacred glory of motherland Who will be my solace now? Steadfast and courageous... Who will be the hero of my heart now? Truest defender of the nation... My hero has fallen His devotion of duty is fulfilled One falls, a thousand will rise [for] the sacred glory of motherland My flower has fallen in the garden of my heart...
