We are glad you like it. It's some serious home vibes for sure. That's one of the advantages with meeting up with our Home Brewers at home, it makes them a lot more comfortable than if we were bringing them to a studio.

@@coffeewithapril You're welcome. I'll give you all of my ideas if you invite me for a cup of coffee! I actually only just learned about April Coffee today through a friend, even though I live in Copenhagen, so I have yet to visit. I like that the videos are not "excessively" edited with a lot of cuts and graphics, etc. I enjoy the single, long, coherent take format that you're doing with the addition of the high quality close-ups, especially those focusing on the coffee-brewing process itself. This style makes for an informally relaxing and informative viewing experience. It is a nice change of pace from the short-attention-span media content so prevalent today. So, based on my own preferences, I'd suggest that you continue down this track that you are on, because I believe that the quality of your videos, and the identity surrounding your brand, will develop steadily and naturally this way.

Finally someone with more April brewers than I own :) . I have two plastics (Blue, Pink), OG set, new ceramic and glass. I like glass the most. I’m not sure I find it the slowest, it works great for me and creates juicy cups

Thank you for the support. The Wood Brewer will launch later this summer. Which of the Brewers would you use to brew a lighter roasted Kenyan coffee?

@@coffeewithapril Wood sounds amazing! Can’t wait. I’d probably gravitate towards Glass but if I wanted more sweetness I’d use ceramic

Your glass brewer is my favorite design. I have one plastic one because i keep breaking the glass ones. Someday ill get another glass one or a porcelain one

That way the Plastic comes in handy. We currently do full glass (brewer, server and the new mug).

I just realized that the EK43 looked smaller is because he did not use the hopper, which makes sense since he's only single dosing.

Yeah, that - or using the smaller hopper version - is a good way to do it. What grinder do you use at home?
@redchen36827 ай бұрын
@@coffeewithapril Hey!!! I started with the Kinu M47 as my initial investment two years ago. Then I got the Timemore 078 for pourover. I just got into espresso two months ago and got the Flair 58 and the Timemore 064S. And all of these grinders, including the Flair, is still less than the price of the EK43. Hehe. But I get it, it's a commercial grade that's why. Btw, did you go to the WOC Busan? I was hoping to meet some home brewers from Busan. Just want to see what is the trend in that area compared to Seoul. I'm from SE Asia, and I am really curious about the coffee scene in SK. I've seen a lot of KZbinrs making coffee content, and I even subscribed to some of them even if i don't understand Korean. 🥲
@coffeewithapril7 ай бұрын
@@redchen3682 sounds like a great setup. The main difference between "commercial grade" is simply the work-ability of the grinder. It doesn't always provide a better tasting coffee on a single cup. That said, we are using EK43 in our stores. We did go to Busan but as one of our team members competed in the World Barista Championships we were all in competition mode so we did not have time to film. That said, next week we start rolling out our videos from Kyoto, Japan.
