I had a blast in the 80s. Very different in how you could meet someone now, but I am still the same fun person I was back then, even better. The best part for me compared to then is my SMV. The tables have definitely turned.

Met my wife in grad school during a game of 4 square in 1982. After our dates I would call a few days later. When she moved away for work, I wrote letters! She kept them. When my kids went on dates, they sent a text that night to see that they got home okay.

In the late 80s, my future husband couldn't even call me. He lived 15 minutes away but because it crossed state lines, it was long distance.

Hahahha. I remember I had a long distance plan for years where I would call and Robin would answer! I literally knew her name and she handled all the Customer Service. -With a British accent even!
