Any controller of a company that sits in an interview and goes on about how he "does not have a money problem" but "prefers spending it on others" should be a blaring warning sign. IDK, just sounds like a rich guy doing rich guy things. Bezos could probably say he likes spending money on others and it wouldn't be a problem because its Bezos' money. Its a problem when Bezos starts spending company money on personal things but that isn't what was being said.
@zeked42003 ай бұрын
@@hapybratt8640 That's not really a great counter point. Sure "rich guys do rich guy things" but Jeff Bezos isn't spending money to the point where he's broke. Warren Buffett...Elon Musk...Bill Gates...nobody is asking these guys: "With all the money your company makes, why aren't you a millionaire?". Because they are...multiple times over, even with all the "rich guy stuff" they do. That this guy was broke and had to spend company funds on personal expenses should have been a massive red flag to everyone else in the company that this guy has no ability to manage his own finances...nevermind the businesses'. Oh yeah, it's also fraud. If you would trust this guy with your money, because he's just a rich guy doing rich guy things... that's on you. What you call 'a ponzi-like scheme' is just a classic case of 'trading while insolvent'. It is not a ponzi scheme, but it is a specific crime that will get you jail time as a director. Ironically the easy out is restructuring under bankruptcy protection, its effectively legal to keep trading that way if you follow the right steps.

It's scary sometimes how vast the dark side of creator culture has grown over the last couple years. But Coffeezilla videos can also help a light on the issue where others can't.

Money. When there’s a lot of money involved, greed often creeps in and shannagins start to happen.

12:18 one thing you forgot to mention is not only was he donating it just to get rid of it rather this is a common business tactic to offset taxes meaning he doesn't have enough cash to pay the amount he owes in taxes

Except it sounds like the “Donations” were made by people who were owed money by Revolt. That means Revolt wouldn't be able to use the Donations as a Write-off.

This was heartbreaking and infuriating to watch. I feel so sorry to everyone who has been a victim of this disgusting predator and I really hope some concrete evidence will come to light, if a victim dares to do that, which will be very hard mentally. He belongs behind bars, just makes me sick. Great journalism as always, Coffee.

Hi, I'm not attempting to be a prick BUT: " I feel so sorry to everyone who has been a victim of this disgusting predator" AND " I really hope some concrete evidence will come to light" These two sentences do not belong in the same paragraph. I get what you are saying though, if found to be 100% accurate then yeah absolutely what you said. I just feel a but uneasy about throwing accusations with no actual evidence. Remember that secondhand accounts are subject to personal feelings. I.e. I hate this person so I'm gonna accuse them of this. Happens far more than people realise.

@@darthdonkulous1810 Hey, you're not a prick. I also get what you are saying, but from what was told to us in the video, I personally don't have a reason to doubt these allegations. By concrete evidence I am referring to something that would be of use in prosecution.

When I saw the thumbnail I was scared some of my favorite creators did/were doing something I wasn't aware of. I'm glad they weren't, but it sucks that they were cheated so bad. Then the second half of everything...

They were part of a Ponzi scheme and were managed by a corrupt business “man”. Hopefully they can find some way to go public with the truth about him

@@Ccubed92is it that bad to enjoy media? Can no one find happiness from content? People are allowed to feel bad that they invested so much time and maybe money on a content creator that turned out to be scammers. You can be a fan without being "parasocial"
