Not gonna lie, the cgi in kingdoms is hella bad when you first see it. But once you get past the first season it gets a lot better, cause it's primarily used for fight scenes and regiments of people in an army. The 3d animation reminds me a lot of the naruto series of fighting games, so if anyones curious of what were talking bout, its kinda like that.

i find scales in gaming reviews ridiculous to begin with. what is a "8.5" exactly? and what makes it different from a "7.5", or a "8.3"? there is no structure, logic or consistency to it.. its so pointless. a "5 out of 10" is usually pretty bad, but logically it should be average. i really hope that in the future people will stop obsessing over nonsensical scales, but i doubt it.

SpecialAgentJesus I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this way, but would you agree if I said that the first few episodes of 'Black Lagoon' are actually pretty boring? Don't get me wrong, I know you have to watch them, because of character establishment n stuff, but 'Black Lagoon' reaches its level of ULTRA-KICK-ASS-quality pretty late, with Episode 7 (or 8 I think). You know when Roberta appears for the first time. From then on, till the end of Second Barrage AND Robertas Blood Trail 'Black Lagoon' is one single ride on the badass-train-of-awesome. But the first few episode ... I dunno .. I was kinda bored to the point, where I thought about not watching the show anymore. Luckily, I kept watching and got to cherish and love and hail one of the best action-anime ever made :)

Kingdom is pretty interesting. It feels like a shounen manga, but has elements from a lot of different genres. It's the only manga that I know of that is actually consistently getting better even at 400 chapters - where it's pretty much reached the point where it could be called good. Tokyo Ghoul on the other hand is a pretty stellar manga except for the horribly rushed arc that lead to the uh... ending? Pretty sure it's going to be continued in another manga, but it was still jarring as hell. Still, it's worth reading even just for the art which is absolutely phenomenal at times, in a similar style to Nurarihyon no Mago. And yeah, it's a lot better than the anime. Just like the FMA manga is better than the original anime. :P

I really wish people wouldn't watch the first 3 episodes before writing something off. Kingdom is probably one of the best anime to come out recently. Episode 4 and onward the CGI becomes nearly non-existant, and when it is done it's not horrible like the first couple of episodes are.

I had a dream where I was talking with Gene Wilder with my grandpa and at the end of the conversation I asked if he like playing video games 'he' referring to Gene but my grandpa answered "Oh, no I don't play video games and then he trailed off" With my eye brows raised the whole time. Then we heard an old woman next door saying Gene Wilder was cute (not knowing who he actually was) which was going to lead to the fact that she was going to ask Gene out. So Gene asked if there was another way out. I showed him a medium sized door and as he left we looked at each other and I was in awe of his presence. Then he was gone.

Hey, Dodger! If you ever need something new to watch, give tokusatsu a try! I heard that this one show, Kamen Rider Gaim, is about to wrap up for the season, and that it's pretty damn good! It's fansubbed, so that may raise a few flags for you, but the groups are up-and-up (except for TVN, who are...just bad). Basically, the show's about dance teams, fruit, monsters, and a mega-corporation. However, things aren't exactly what they seem. Saying anything more would be spoiling the show, but I will say this: It the very first scene, you're being lied to about a VERY critical moment that happens very late in the show. For the sake of avoiding further spoilers, I'm not saying what that thing is. If you're interested, I have a few links that I can give you via PM.
