You guys inspire me with every single video. I also have an autoimmune disease and there's a lot of my days that I just can't get everything done. When I started watching your channel 6 years ago I didn't have any animals and no garden. Now we have 150 chickens, 10 goats, 9 rabbits and 11 cats, along with a 60'x80' garden with around 30 3'x4' raised beds. I have been working on the garden for 6 years and every year I'm adding more. This year I planted lots of zinnia because I just didn't have the energy to have lots of veggies and be able to take care of them. Next year I might only plant flowers but they bring me so much peace. Thanks for sharing all that you do.

There is no better testimony of an animal being completely at peace and happy, comfortable and feeling safe, than being willing to act on something as vulnerable as laying an egg (potential offspring), if and when it would not be safe to do so. Its not recommended to breed the white peacocks because of their genes.

The way you are training your fruit trees makes me think of espalier. An old-fashioned way to train fruit trees along a wall, very popular in Renaissance Italy.

My father had a never used narrow path by his house that was a sun trap. He grew espalier loganberries along it. They were the best! I think it looks very elegant as well.

Please put them in the incubator….I don’t know if they are viable. Don’t know what she was up too, before you got her. I just don’t know about animals. Jason so proud of you, your Orchard is magical. Grapes here cost 18-20 a kilo. Ouch!!!

This would Not be in her best interest OR Jason and Brooks.... They already have enough to handle. Generally speaking, an all-white peacock tends to have a lower quality of life compared to those that boast a variety of colors on their plumage. This is a Genetic Condition! > White peacocks and Hereditary 'Mutations.' (Not a good idea) (not fertile anyway) ( Yes, Blindness is common) Something you Do NOT want to pass on......

You know, Brooke, we have feral peacocks in our neighborhood (30-40 on our street, maybe 75-80 in neighborhood. Oh, we’re in the city). I noticed yesterday a momma peafowl with a few days old chick). Most of the spring born chicks are 10-12 inches high. Enjoy your new peafowl!

Persimmons, when I was a kid, my friend and I were out hiking in the woods when we came upon a wild persimmon! She said that her dad, who was a naturalist farmer, Saud they were eat able! Well I took one and took a bite of that beautiful peach colored fruit!! Instantly my mouth felt like I had a mouth full of cotton! Couldn't swallow my spit!!LOL 😅 I found out from my mom that you shouldn't eat them until after the first frost when they start to fall off the tree! Her friend made preserves with them and my mom would send us out to pick them for her! I have not eaten one since!!!

Jason my fig tree has been cut to the ground 3 times and it is coming back better than ever now. Will you please share with us when y’all do your preserves? My grandmother has been gone 9 years so I can’t ask her for help anymore. She made the best preserves. I have a great apple butter recipe I could share if you want. Have an awesome week. I think you should call the avian vet and ask her about Snow White. Should you take the eggs or should you leave them. It might be good for her, to lay a clutch and set on them.

It’s never good for a bird to sit a clutch of eggs unless you know ow for a fact they will Hatch. Most hens don’t eat or drink very much while sitting which is fine with a healthy bird but could be fatal for a not quite right hen. Add to the fact that white peacocks carry a bunch of bad genetics that can lead to some serious defects in the chicks if the father was also a white.
