I'm agnostic and I'm saying this without prejudice or hatred, but you had no choice being a Muslim woman (did you?), therefore you must focus on the good and try not to think about the bad as much as possible, but most religions have an underline of helping the community whereas Islam is based on "obey me or I'll kill you", by far most of the violence in the world today coming from religion is based on the people of the Islamic faith (not all are violent, but those who are violent are). Another characteristic is extreme stubbornness and intolerance, if you don't agree with me, I can't possibly be right, period. And saying other religions do the same is a mute point because I'm talking about orders of magnitude of difference which will be obviously ignored. I'm sorry you had no choice, but I'm happy you've apparently found a way to cope. I'm not trying to offend you, but the world would be a much better place if Islam had never existed.

The Dawa-oriented forms of radical Islam are not necessarily violent by nature, but nevertheless they generate important security risks. Dawa is usually interpreted as 're-Islamisation' of Muslim minorities in the West. These minorities are seen as 'oppressed brothers' who should be liberated from the 'yoke of Western brainwashing'. The groups focusing on Dawa follow a long-term strategy of continuous influencing based on extreme puritanical, intolerant and anti-Western ideas. They want Muslims in the West to reject Western values and standards, propagating extreme isolation from Western society and often intolerance towards other groups in society. They also encourage these Muslims to (covertly) develop parallel structures in society and to take the law into their own hands. What they mean is that Muslims the West should turn their backs on the non-Islamic government and instead set up their own autonomous power structures based on specific interpretation of the Sharia.

I'm 23 years old and grew up in the States. I only had Christian exposure to religion (even then, many speeches I saw were tainted with sexism/racism/division). I love God but did not like the close-minded community of it, so I stayed away. I'm ashamed to say it, but for a long time that also meant being close minded to other religions (didn't help that my schools don't teach multiple religions for education's sake). Thank you for videos like these. Not only do I get a become a more empathetic and informed neighbor for my Muslim friends, but hearing about it made me want to *actively* seek God again.

Truly informative summary of Islam. I have tried several times to learn about islam, but it seems so complicated when you search for it, and it is in bits and pieces, so i never really got it. Over time i have gotten the impression that one has to study it seriously to understand, so this was very nice, it really is a beautiful religion. It is kind of sad to see how the media focus on the "wrong" stuff and make it seem like a negative and kind of scary religion. And i must admit, i feel sorrow when i see the gratutude from the muslims in the comments for you good work. Not sad that they are grsteful, but the fact that they are so grateul that you made it so respectfully, tells me a lot about how misunderstood Islam is, and how much disrespect they must experience regarding their religion, and that kind of hurts. As somebody returning to the religion, and growing up in a Muslim household, I think you so much! Your present it in a non-biased factual and comical way, and I myself am learning. I always tell people that there’s no such thing as being able to learn the entire religion because it encompasses culture, linguistic different, and all sorts of other factors. May other people watch this video and have a more positive perspective of the most beautiful religion in the world! The Quran Contradicts Itself Quran Sura 2:29 & Quran 41:9-11 says the earth was created first, then heaven. Quran 79:27-30 says heaven was created first, then allah went to finish earth. It cannot decide if earth was created first or heaven. To make matters worse, the consensus of Muslims is that the earth that was created first, which is materialism. It is like saying a virtual reality is created first. Proof it is untrue? The Bible says Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to get to Heaven and avoid Hell. (John 14:6)

If I tell you to stop believe Jesus and force you to follow ALLAH(ALLAH is the name of the only god in islam ), this wouldn't be effective, so I will try to not force you. First of all, Jesus in islam is a prophet, prophet means someone who came to the world and guides people into the straight path (in the path of ALLAH). And in the very original bible, Jesus never said that he was god or worship me. It is later that there were many versions of bible, where it has written worship me, when he never said this thing. And ALLAH is the true god because in the religion of islam, we dont know how ALLAH looks like, our mission to come to this world is to pass this test, the test of believing ALLAH is one god, and prophet Muhammad is his final messenger, and following the Quran(a holy book of islam, like the Bible of Christianity). And if we do pass this test, we will go to heavens, but only muslims can go to heavens if they pass the test(unless the muslim suicides, meaning if the muslim kills itself, then he/she cant go to heaven). That's maybe why many muslim want convert other people into Islam, because we want more people to go to heavens. If You have any questions, feel free to reply me. As an impartial to the subject who knows Islam well, this is a very informed and accurate video, I could only imagine the amount of research that was done before making the video. I would have loved a bit more criticism of some aspects but again this is an introductory video aimed at general audience.

The truth is that the same God who created other faiths and the universe is the same God who created Islam. but the objection of the people of other faiths is that God has multiple personalities for creating various religions lol, truth is that it is due to the various conditions of the stage of mental/spiritual conditions of the observer(humans) over time(evolution) in its environment with it's various properties as well, that there has been various prophets with a core belief in a supreme God to guide those specific people to a positive and peaceful life, in the culmination of Islam being an actual objective world wide flexible guidance. from these objectors it is like the fallacy that the sun revovles around us, lol. that one point from Deuteronomy about the Holy Prophet being like Moses in the sense of being a law-bearing prophet, as well as having( my main point) a successor prophet to rejuvenate the law -bearing prophets law, Moses having Jesus and the Holy Prophet having the Promised Messiah, who arrived in India and started the community about 135 years ago... The Adam as we know it, who came about 7000 years ago, came with physical blessing of improved housing,agriculture etc. The most recent Adam, the Promised Messiah, being the return of Christ through Islam, came with physical blessings of improved communications and means of travel and various other sectors including science etc. In symbolistic terms, the Holy prophet has been term as the Sun that radiates guidance and blessings, we the earth that benefits, and the moon that reflects the blessed light of the sun during the night. The Holy prophet being the most perfect prophet and amalgamation of the previous laws and new laws, this in it's entirety is the sun, and physical effect of this symbolism is that during the days of the previous prophets and Holy prophet, the general population of humans had to work hard physical labour to participate of societal life. As the Promised Messiah represents the moon and his community started about 135 years and we are living in his days now, physical effect of symbolism of the moon is that we sleep or rest, thus life becomes easier for the general population of humans on earth, also a satellite is like a artificial moon🤗 technology, Ai is only going to get better in the future, life becomes even more easier. The Promised Messiah came about 1400 years after Prophet Muhammad, Nabi Isa came about 1400 years after Nabi Musa, just as implied in Deuteronomy prophecy. The Mullahs are twisting the laws of Islam, and making their own ones up! example, Islam does not teach death to apostates, they should be free as they please, im sorry you've been mis informed. I was raised Southern Baptist. Thought xenophobia by my father after 9/11. I very often said nuclear war should be used to remove Arab countries from the earth. Then, one day, I found an Islamic temple, and spoke my beliefs to the patrons. An elderly man came and took me by the hand, as asked me to find in the Quran where any of my information came from. When I couldn’t, he handed it to me, and asked that I go home, and really read it. After 4 years of reading it nightly, I reverted to Islam. It’s been 10 years, and I am now an atheist, but if I were to believe, I would chose Islam. It’s a beautiful culture and religion, and I really suggest to all people to read it.

@@mattavellaneda6073 I think he misunderstood the video, the video was quite accurate, although it did lack a lot of details which is not an issue because that would take hours. The details are in depth and I don't think it's supposed to be in a overview video. A tip for you as you are leaning Islam, Quran has internal and external context. These verses were revealed during certain events and that's the external context that you can't find in Quran but in hadiths, and internal context is within Quran like why someone will go to hell, you see previous verse it will say the lairs and so on.. I converted a long time ago, then left Islam due to ignorance and being unacademic and listening and consuming anti Islam information subserviently. Simply put, just read and when you question something then try to learn instead of misunderstanding it. Good luck, may the only true God guide you!
