Cognition Enhancer for ADHD for increasing focus and concentration. Ambient post-rock study music.
► You can find all the Cognition Enhancer tracks in this playlist: • Cognition Enhancer Iso...
► Subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks:
www.youtube.com...
► If you are new to this type of audio brainwave entrainment, find out how isochronic tones work and how they compare to binaural beats here: www.mindamend.c....
► This track uses the same isochronic tones session/frequencies as my other Cognition Enhancer tracks/videos, but with a different soundtrack, which is exclusive to KZbin.
What does this track do?
This music can be used for longer study or homework sessions and will help you to maintain a good level of concentration and focus, while at the same time feeling quite relaxed.
This track contains isochronic tones, which is the repetitive beats you hear behind the music. After around 5 or 6 minutes your brainwaves start to synchronize with the frequency of the tones. Then, as the tones change and cycle up and down through a specific frequency range, your brainwaves follow along in step with them. This process is known as brainwave entrainment.
The ‘beat’ frequencies used in this track range between 10 to 20 Hz, which means they beat at between 10 to 20 times per second. At the lowest end of 10Hz, this is known as the Alpha frequency range, which is a reasonably relaxed mental state. At the highest 20Hz frequency you go up into the Beta range. When you are awake, alert and focused during the day, your brain’s dominant frequency will be in the Beta range.
When we are studying or doing things that are mentally taxing, we might feel very alert and focused, but we are also a little tense, perhaps because of the importance of what we are working on, or maybe because we are under a time deadline. This extra pressure can cause mental blocks and make it harder for you to ‘think on your feet’.
This isochronic tones session is designed to help overcome that problem, by increasing your levels of Alpha and Beta brainwave activity. So you get the benefit of having increased beta activity which is good for concentration, but at the same time, you have enough Alpha activity to be relaxed, resulting in a state of relaxed focus, where you can think more clearly and overcome mental blocks.
Headphones are recommended
You can use this session without headphones, but to get the full benefit of the stimulation, particularly if you have ADHD, you need to wear headphones.
This is an advanced ‘split hemisphere’ isochronic tones session, which stimulates each ear with a different beat frequency. Your right brain is stimulated within the 10 to 14Hz range, and your left brain between 10 to 20Hz, making the left more dominant. The left brain is associated with logic, analysis, maths, language, facts and reasoning, so it can be beneficial to have the left more dominant when studying or other similar mentally taxing activities.
ADD/ADHD
ADD and similar disorders are often characterized by "slow-wave" EEG patterns, particularly in the left frontal region. So this track can also provide relief for ADD/ADHD symptoms by increasing the frequency of the brainwave activity in the left brain.
How should you listen to this?
You can listen to this track with your eyes open while studying, reading or doing other activities that require a higher level of concentration. You can also sit somewhere quiet and relaxing and use it as a form of mental meditation with your eyes closed.
When to listen?
It is best to use this during the daytime and early evening, but not too close to bedtime. Because this track stimulates your brain to a more alert and focused state, it’s not suitable for listening to while sleeping, as it will probably disrupt your sleep.
How Loud Should The Volume Be?
Play it at a volume level you feel comfortable with. It should be loud enough to hear the repetitive isochronic tones, but not so loud that it’s uncomfortable for you. Somewhere in the middle is my recommendation.

The joy of adhd, oh well I just rock with it now. It's just like a conversation, someone cuts you off, you forget what you were saying and you just bounce off what they just said (untill you get so distracted to the point that you forget the entire conversation, and feel like an absolute idiot). Stopped beating myself about it, I just learned to catch myself and it helps me to manage it better.

This has been the ONLY video I've found that actually has music I LIKE. And I have tried A LOT of them. So many of them, the music is awful.. This is more my style, the nice trance/EDC type music and I can actually listen to it when doing homework and it does exactly what his description says it does. I've even noticed with a beat here and there of the music that a muscle will twitch inline with it. It's kinda crazy. Thank God I found this video. I just started college and it's been a long time, I have ADHD and I get VERY tense when doing the work. This video keeps me calm but not sleepy. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

A diagnosis doesn't give you ADHD, just because you're not identified as having it, doesn't mean you don't. The converse is also true, just because a random doctor who got a C, says you have it, doesn't mean you do, or need meds.

Sometimes I feel like this is a placebo effect. I mean, I have inattentive ADHD and having some auditory stimulation really does increase my productivity, but I also have a special interest in music because I'm an artist myself. I've found that I can get distracted with music that has discernible rhythm so I tend to just use like white noise and stuff when I have to work on something for school. I'm wondering if anyone else feels the same. Maybe it's just because everyone is different, but stuff like this really distracts me. Does anyone else feel the same?

While I've never been diagnosed, I have been struggling with focusing and concentrating for the last 5-10 years. I have ALWAYS- without fail- been an excellent procrastinator. I have one or two other videos that are "old faithful," for when I'm trying to get long-term intense work done, but I hit a point that they get too quiet, they make me tired, or they simply don't engage me enough to stay focused AT ALL. I tried this one tonight while having late night work and it has been AMAZING; I have gotten so much done without taking a break or getting distracted. The extra beats, synthesis, and such make a huge difference in keeping my brain engaged, but focused on my task. Thanks for making this :)

When the music started I thought oh, damnit this is not for me. I decided to read the comments and I thought hmmm... sometimes one has to venture past our preconceived comfort zones and also beyond what we believe we like zones! With that said, I had vid playing while I was organizing some things I've been having trouble getting done. 🥁🥁🥁 It most definitely works! Hallelujah! Highly recommended! 🙏☮️❤️🇨🇦 to everyone reading! Thank you for making this video!

I am a musician and I also have ADD/HD. I always wondered how music would effect my mental state. I once did a test in high school that used Baroque music Vs. Heavy metal or hard rock music, and definitely found that the Baroque music was more effective. I do enjoy this music as it's similar to tones and sounds that I use when I write music, so I guess I'll give it a try. Thanks.😍😁

Enjoying the tracks, reminds me a little of Subnautica's soundtrack at times. Was able to focus on writing for a while with its help, so thanks!

I have ADHD and I'm into music so i just ended bopping my head to the beat and get distracted every time i hear the high pitched tone. basically i ended up thinking about the music and was not able to focus on my task. I didn't even realize that i spent 10 minutes just spacing out and feeling the beat of the music and thinking about musical instruments etc.

Not bad. Helped me a little id say. It kinda sounds like something out of the video game Subnautica but over all helpful enough :) also its nice to have one that changes its music tones. Most others i have looked up are alright but they repeat the same tune and that gets boring.
