Can you please tell what are coding questions asked in genc next round and how many you did
@ManishYadav-vo6zq3 жыл бұрын
I'm really sorry, not able to recall the exact questions, but they were based on strings, list and dictionaries and some coding logic to build using loops and if-else conditions, I can only remember this much. There were around 5 questions difficulty level rises up each question, and each question have around 10-20 test cases, depends on the type of question. I attempted all of them. See, there are two types of rounds: 1. The round in which toggle between questions is restricted. In this scenario, time management plays major role, try solving as many test cases as you can, but keep time in mind, distribute the time for each question and spend more than that time if and only if you are very confident in a question, otherwise move forward to next question, never get stuck, it may happen that upcoming question is easier for you than the present one. In these types of rounds, I prefer solving as many test cases of one question over attempting all questions. 2. The round which allows you to toggle between questions. In this scenario, first make basic code for each and every question, make sure that basic code passes some of the test cases, and then you toggle around the questions and pick them up according to your understanding, i.e., start upgrading the basic codes to pass more test cases for the question which you understand the most. Using this method, at the end of the round you've attempted all the questions and would've passed significant amount of test cases. In these types of rounds, I prefer attempting all questions over passing all test cases of single question. Thing that remains common in both kinds of round is Time management. Never get stuck over single problem statement, it eats up more time than you think during the exam. Sorry for such a long comment, hope you find this helpful.

@@siddharthamishra7598 The threshold is not provided by the company, but from your side just be sure that you have cleared more than half of test cases for each problem statement, like I cleared 17 of 20 test cases in some problems and 12 of 20 test cases for tougher problem statements.

If you clear the coding round, you go for 3rd round, the technical round for GenC NXT, else you will appear for the technical round for GenC. Also the students who were not eligible for coding round but have performed well in 1st round, will directly go to the technical round for GenC. @Manish Yadav can they cancel the offer if you dont perform well during internship
@ManishYadav-vo6zq2 жыл бұрын
Assessments are taken during internships, if you don't perform well, they will give you another chance, but after some amount of training, there will be a maximum number of attempts, for example, for me there were 2 attempts for each assessment, but if you keep on failing, first...it will consume a lot of time, since the company wouldn't offer you a full time offer until you clear the assessment criteria, and worst case, yes, then can cancel your offer, but this case will occur if you are failing consistently.

Since you selected Cybersecurity, you must atleast know the fundamentals of that field, they might ask some questions based on those. I don't think that the interview will be completely related to it, but you can expect that major proportion of the interview will be based on that field.

I'm not familiar with GenC Pro profile, and GenC, GenC Next profiles were available to us since Cognizant came on campus. About off campus applications, hope @The BaeSlay Way will help you. Talking about elevation in your position, it all depends on your performance, just a piece of advice, the elevation in companies like TCS, infosys, accenture, cognizant are pretty rare in small interval of time, like don't expect of an elevation within a year or two.

@ManishYadav-vo6zq3 жыл бұрын
@@drupppadhz8965 I think by getting shortlisted for GenC next you mean you are now eligible for coding round...so it depends on how you perform, interview is not so solid, if you clear the coding round, most of the interview is all about fundamentals, so the chances are pretty good of getting selected. If you fail the coding round, you will get the interview call for GenC, probably. In case if you mean that only two students cleared the coding round, it will be easier for you to clear the interview as well if you're upto the things that you have mentioned in your resume and you have a good grasp on the fundamentals. Don't worry about the number of students who got selected, even if its only one student and he/she clears all the rounds, they will select that candidate. So prepare well, stay focused and be confident. All the best 👍
