In a way, I think I like the art style of coh1 more than coh2 but I cannot place what exactly it is that I like about it. It seems 'cleaner' to me.

Sorry to dispatoint you but its nearly the same as Coh2 :/ Just the sound is amazing but the rest rly nothing spezial. Sure graphics and physics but that dienst mean the game is good at all. Its the same with the bright dumb colors looks like a fricking Cartoon. Same with the Map.... I will defneite stay with Coh1. Nothing so far will change that. People who liked C oh2 cos its so noob friendly then they will like 3 too with some minor changes. Im very happy that the Coh1 Community is still very livly and many Coh2 Players are coming back

Anyone remember Tales of Heroes with Bridger and that other guy? I used to play back in 06 thru 08. Played against some of the old greats, can’t believe I remember some their names. I had to download the vids from GameReplays and play them through a media player - KZbin was still too young. I can’t believe people are still making and watching CoH replays. 15+ years, amazing.

CoH 1 is by far the the funnest RTS to watch. DO you think you could turn the game music & sounds up a bit next time in the mix, cause the music adds a lot to the replay, and I enjoy the unit voice acting even after all these years.

I think one of the reasons coh1 looks the cleanest is because there are no circles around capture flags. I think coh3 should remove them, and make them only appear when being captured or contested, and maybe make them less bold and dim their colors. This way the screen isn't just filled with flashy bright colored circles which take away from the beauty of the map

Thailand (Kingdom of Siam at that time) tried to remain neutral during WWII and rejected Japanese requests for military access to invade British colonies in Malaysia and Singapore etc. In response, the Japanese invaded and seized Bangkok within the day, whereupon the British began bombing Japanese positions *in Bangkok*. The Thai people had already lost a capital (Ayutthaya) to complete destruction within the last few centuries and didn't want their new one to be bombed, so they joined the Japanese alliance and granted them military access. Japan wasn't interested in colonizing Thailand and only cared about taking over foreign colonies in SE Asia. Siam occupied some insignificant portions of neighboring land during the war. After the war, they were forced to return the occupied land and the civilian government was replaced, but they were not significantly punished or affected.

Happy Birthday AE! Great game. If you did a vanilla tournament, I prefer whatever mode you used for this. I appreciate seeing professional coh1 play, since I need pointers. It's hard to see, but I'm not sure the Grenadiers had mg32's. They seem much more consistent than the Shrek's.

for coh 1: there is a bug where you can search for paks/AT guns in fog of war using cover preview. it always shows up as heavy cover even when cloaked, and seeing as statement also abused the pak fire rate bug, I decided to just hammer the paks through FOW lmao

Loved the coh 1 voice lines of the units. Arty seems better then coh2 arty, never been a 1v1 player in coh 1 but the mid game seems a lot longer wich is like and combat seems more punishing yet fluid.

COH 1 has atmospheric cinematic graphics. Such as Saving Private Rayan picture. Coh 2 and 3 have green gras, bright clean textures, but this game does not need it. I just cant watch coh 2 and 3 because they have not atmosphere. Instead I love very mach coh 1 even when it has some old mechanics and bugs. This version is beautiful. They should make coh 4 with everything from coh 1 but replacing textures to more detailed and also add some new nations

The German player is just throwing everything away. Going in with tanks deep into enemy territory with no support, not retreating KCH in time. It's hard to believe this player is fr. Needs to work on troop conservation.
